Spyro A New Beginning

Dreadwing 1 Spyro walks out into the open field (it's a huge area). It's awfully quiet. [movie sequence begins] Off in the distance, 4 dreadwings come flying in, each with a cargo full of trolls no doubt. Each one drops their cargo, in military sequence, not too far away from Spyro. After the explosions dissipate, nothing! No trolls, no warriors, no enemies Very strange? Here we are expecting a gauntlet of enemies to get through but there're nothing. OK proceed with caution.

Dreadwing 2 Walking for such a long stretch without seeing any enemies seems a little odd. No matter. At the end, near the bridge, a few trolls are making camp. A commander troll is blocking the birdge. OK. Take down all the trolls that come into play. There aren't that many to fight. As you nearly complete that battle, the skies get dark with 4 more dreadwings. This time all 4 dreadwings are coming to land. This is not good! Take care of the troll on the bridge first!

Dreadwing 3 Fighting a Dreadwing is no easy task. This is a strong mean bird-like bat with bite! Your best attack against a Dreadwing is non-stop flame. If you want to have any chance of survival, you must keep this beast glowing red in fire at all times. Once glowing red, the beast seems to be paralyzed and unaware of your location so you can use a high flying melee move to knock some life out of them. You have to repeat this a good 3-4 times to get any results.

Dreadwing 4 Fighting 1 was bad enough, but fighting 2 Dreadwings at the same time seems like certain suicide. BUT... it can be done. Again.... the secret is keep them burning red all the time. The burn effect lasts for about 6 seconds and in that time, you can melee some serious damage. Even better if you can melee them from behind. After the flame wears off, you can strike again, without the Dreadwings taking a piece out of you. Good luck. Hope you survive.
