Back inside the Dragon Temple, Cyril wants to train Spyro in the ways of ice power. This power is very different in that it parlayzes your victims by encasing them in ice. It doesn't work all that well in some situations (you have better options) but it works very well against enemies like fireflies & magmaworms, which you will encounter shortly. The first set of training exercises involve your [square] standard breath and how it melees with enemies (cool effects).

The icicle shooter [R2] is very different and sorta like a gun. The slivers of ice you shoot can target an enemy who is a far distance away. This option works well when dealing with enemies who are farther away but running around aimlessly. This will freeze them n thier tracks, allowing Spyro a chance to catch them and then melee into submission. The Fury power doesn't seem to have as much punch as I thought it would have, but it's nice to have in the arsenal.

The final series of tests involve the new Ice Fury [R2] which has incredible graphic effects. Not sure where I will use this power-up, but it is interesting. Again... like the other fury training exercises, get rid of all the small dojo dummies first, then when confronted with a horde of larger dummies, press [R2]. You can only use this power, when your spirit energy circle (upper left hand corner) is charged. TRAINING COMPLETE!

[movie sequence begins] The guardian dragons all gather around the dream pool and are worried about their companion Terrador. Ignitus tells Spyro to be careful. The volcano is not an easy place and Cynder will be closeby.
