[movie sequence begins] So.. it all comes down to this. Cynder has placed the last power crystal into the gate of the tower and the energy beam is at it's full power. Spyro calls out Cynder and yells that he's gonna stop her. Cynder comes swooping down and says he may not realize what he's up against. YIKES! THIS IS IT! The final battle of the game and it's gonna take everything you got.

Cynder starts by trying to whack her tail at you. Jump up in the air and melee combo her wings and body in mid-air where she can't get at you. Flame her hard. When you land on the ground, quickly run around to her back when you can and continue the mid-air melee attacks. Hopefully you won't sustain too much injury. If you are using up your spirit power, when you get a quick break, run over to a spirit crystal and power-up. Avoid her tail whacks whatever you do!

Chances are, Cynder will kill you several times over and you'll have to start at the beginning several times. You WILL get the hang of it eventually. Stay alive to at least knock her down 1 full health bar. She then takes off and starts to fly around. Watch out for her flame torch as she tries to scorch you on the ground. Now it's time for a few well-timed fire bombs [triangle]. Just before she flies overhead, jump in the air and fire a bomb. A direct hit will notch her health meter.

Eventually, she'll land on the ground again for the final assault. Use the tornado bomb [triangle] to paralyze her just long enough for a few mid-air melee attacks. As she weakens, she moves slower. Try to take advantage of her short-comings. Go around her back and stay out of her direct line of sight. Eventually she goes down in defeat. [epilogue movie sequence begins] A guardian spirit voice calls to Spyro that he now has the power of the ancients.

THIS IS THE FINAL SEQUENCE. Cynder gets up again and flies into the sky. Spyro has ONE LAST SURPRIZE! Use the new ancient spirit fury [R2] and watch the spectacular fireworks and effects. Cynder goes down in a ball of flames and lies unconscious. The tower explodes and Cynder reverts back to a small dragon the size of Spyro... And from there... the final epilogue, which I'm not going to tell you!
