This is it!! The final world boss battle before you meet Gnasty Gnorc. Unlike previous world bosses, you have 2 dragons to free in this level. Of course, the situation gets a little tougher, and you will be called upon to use all the skills you have learned, up to this point.

Lots of stuff right off the bat. The timer jesters have a short life in alarm clock mode and in this level, they trigger a nearby platform to be raised or lowered. Position the jester in such a way that you can flame them and quickly jump to the platform that they control. The weird mutant lobster crab baddies wearing white need a head-butt. The other orange mutant crabs with the magic flowers, need a flame. DO NOT GO STRAIGHT AHEAD. Instead, go right and work down the path, clearing all the mutants off the pedestals, and cleaning up the gems as you go.

At the end of the path, you have 2 choices. You can go down the stairs to the right and free the dragon, then face "Jacques in the box" or you can go to the left, and clear out the area. I chose the left path first. Clear off the 3 crabs from the pedstals, then glide to the next ledge. Here, you need to FLAME BOTH ALARM CLOCK JESTERS, to raise 2 sections of the platform to access the raised alcove on the right. Grab the key. Return to the upper area and open the jewel chest. Go down the stairs, free the dragon and SAVE GAME. Don't fight Jacques yet!

Before you fight Jacques, go to the beginning of the level to free the 2nd dragon. Right by the entrance are 2 jesters. One seems to do nothing. If you look over the ledge, there is a raised platform. If you flame the jester that seems to be doing nothing, you'll notice that he lowers that platform giving you access to the 2nd dragon. So... you need to flame him, run to the other jester, flame him, jump over the ledge down to the now-lowered platform. Just stand there til the alarm goes off. Spyro will now elevate on the platform and can glide over to free the dragon.

There is more stuff behind the dragon. Flame the jester, jump quickly to the ledge that is on a timer, and then jump to the whirlwind. It will take you to the next platform. From there, jump on the pedestal to the little alcove and all the jewels. Take the whirlwind back and then glide back to the dragon pedestal. Here go right. This is weird but fun. Take the whirlwind up to the top and then glide and flame these guys off their high perches. Collect all the goodies and return to the dragon pedestal. Fly back to the island with the raised platform. Backtrack to the 2nd dragon.

Jacques is not all that bad. Just stay clear of him throwing boxes. When he lands on a "jack in the box", watch for his quick arm that punches out. Right after that, flame him from the side and he'll take off to the next box. Follow him around to all the platforms, until the very end. When you flame him for the last time STAY CLEAR. His spring will pop, and he explodes giving up MAJOR JEWELS. A whirlwind will take you to the very high platform. RETURN HOME.
