After exploring the jungle world of Nabla Forest, Ratchet runs into a native voodoo leader who reminds us of Qwark. We've been ordered to enter the Path of Death.

Nearby is a Gadgetron Kiosk. This probably sounds like a good idea to load up on ammo about now. Walk down the tunnel into the hidden factory. Down below are lava pits, so it wouldn't be a good idea to fall. The first set of platforms are on swing hinges that drop away as you land on them. Hop across the series of platforms. Load the N60 Storm. Near the end, 2 natives come running out as you jump to the ledge. Take em down quickly. Run to the far wall and hide.

The ramp ahead is like a bowling alley. Boulders are rolling down the ramp on 3 different routes. None of Ratchet's weapons seem to work too well on solid rock, and even if you could, there are more boulders right behind them. Run up the ramp dodging the boulders as they come down. At the end, jump up to the platform and watch for 2 natives that come running out. Take them down with the N60 Storm using the auto-aim target ring. Whack all the crates for bolts and ammo.

Climb up to the upper level and go right. There is another set of platforms with swing hinges and some nasty looking flame-pot platforms that go on and off. Time the jumps to avoid the flame-pots as they burn-out. Don't waste any time.The flame-pots are dormant for only 2-3 seconds. There are 2 solid platforms halfway, that you can watch the cycle of the flame-pots without any injury. At the end, load the Plasma Whip. Burn the swarm of bees on the bridge.

Down the next hallway, something really evil. Ram pistons come out of the wall at speed. In between the sets of ram pistons, are blocks of flame-pots that go on and off very quickly. The bad part, is the flame-pots ARE NOT IN SEQUENCE with the pistons, so it looks like no matter what, Ratchet is going to take some damage. Do your best to get across to the far platform. Take down the natives at the other end with the Plasma Whip. Get ready for more flame-pots.

Watch the banks of flame-pots as they run a pattern of burn cycles. It's going to be difficult to run through them without hesitating once in awhile, then heli-jumping over other flames pots as they light up. NOT EASY! Once done, look for another bowling alley ramp with boulders up ahead. This one has flame-pots obstructing the ramp, to make it a little more interesting. Dodge the boulders and flames and jump to the platform at the end. MISSION COMPLETE.

Skill Point: If you can make it through the entire Path of Death obstacle course without a scratch, you'll earn the Stay Squeaky Clean skill point. It may take 2-3 tries.
