Up Your Arsenal

Command Center

This it it! After all the hours of gameplay and weapons mayheim, we are about to confront Nefarious, once and for all. Slim Cognito breaks-in right when you land on the planet, and asks if you would like one of your old favorite weapons back? Fly back to Aquatos and get the Shield Charger LV1. I would suggest going to Annihilation Nation for awhile and level-up to LV2 or LV3. Best offence is a good defense!

Command Center 1 As always, load up with everything at the Gadgetron Kiosk. To the right of the platfrom, a series of overhead versa-targets. Down below, 2 commander noids are patrolling the entrance. Load the Plasma Storm (my plasma coil is now at LV5) zoom-in and fire 3 plasma bursts. They should vaporize. Load the Hypershot tarzan swing across then heli-glide down to the entrance platform. Load the UltraShield Launcher to defend yourself as the door opens when you land.

WEAPON STRATEGY: I found that the Plasma Storm LV5 was slightly more powerful than the Decimator LV5 as being the best mid-range weapon for taking down tough enemies. I kept the Splitter Rifle LV5 only for extreme long-range sniper situations.

Command Center 2 With your defense shield up, load the Plasma Storm and fire 2 bursts at the Commander noid to take him down while he fires his plasma cannon. Load the Rift Ripper and fire 2 rift grenades in succession into the very back of the room. I found (by accident) that when you fire 2 grenades together, THE BLACK-HOLE IS BIGGER AND STRONGER! Everything in the room will get sucked in. In addition, all the crates in the room explode from the electric arc blasts inside the black-hole.

Command Center 3 Clean-out the room. 2 security noids are hiding out on the ledge by the lake. If the Rift Ripper didn't get them, load the Shield Charger to defend yourself from a surprise attack, then load the Decimator and hunt them down. Run back into the room. On the other side of the lake, more security noids are standing watch atop 2 tank platforms. They start to fire blue plasma guns. From the archway, let your Decimator target ring lock-on to them. Fire 2 missles at each noid.

Command Center 4 Jump over the lake to the platform. Tomahawk strike with Ratchet's wrench to explode anything breakable for bolts and a nearby Nanotech health cube. The wall at the back is climbable with your gravity boots. With the Decimator loaded, climb the wall. 2 more security noids run down the wall from up top. fire 2 missles at each. Should your Shield Charger evaporate DON'T LOAD ANOTHER SHIELD! Up top, load the TyhrraGuise. Your shield will evaporate. Go and talk to the noid.

Command Center 5 This Tyhrranoid guarding the forcefield is very suspicious. You'll need to have 3-4 conversations with him, before he believes you're not a Lombax? Once he agrees with you, reluctantly, he'll activate the hover pad to the upper level. To the left, is a forcefield curtain. Take the hover pad up top then walk to the left. There's a small ledge below and the familiar glow of a titanium bolt. Jump down and grab it. There's a nearby floor sensor pad that will return you to the hover pad.

If you've played the game in sequence and finished every detail of every mission as you've advanced, you should now have all 40 titanium bolts. If you do, you'll be awarded the Titanium Collector Trophy which will now be proudly displayed on the first row of the Trophy Room back at the Phoenix.

Command Center 6 Once you've taken the hover pad a second time, up top revert back to Ratchet. Walk to the end, and climb the wall ladder. Up top while on the first stair step, load the TyhrraGuise again and approach the noid behind the next forcefield. You'll need to have 3-4 long conversations with him as well. He likes watching movies?? The dialogue is hilarious (especially if you mess-up and have to repeat things). The fart noises are funny too!

Command Center 7 After the Tyhrranoid lets you in, walk to the right to the hover pad. Take the pad down to the lower level. load the Shield Charger and create your defense bubble. Load the Rift Ripper and fire 2 rift grenades down the hallway as the security drones hover out and start to fire on you. The mega black-hole will suck-in everything in sight. Walk around the corner and tomahawk strike to explode all the nearby crates and breakables. Quickly hide behind one of the box baracades.

Command Center 8 Across the gap between buildings, 3 more Commander noids standing guard. 2 are on top of tank platforms and 1 is walking back and forth on the sidewalk. Load the UltraShield Launcher and face the noids. Deploy a shield facing the other building. The Noids are still looking around and have not detected Ratchet yet. Load the Splitter Rifle. Go into zoom sniper mode and peg the noid on top of one of the tanks. Pan across to the other tank platform and snipe the other one.

WEAPON STRATEGY: Depending on where you deploy the UltraShield barrier on the platform, when you start shooting the Commander Noids, the 2 other noids may respond and fire their green plasma cannons. The UltraShield is more for insurance. The green plasma fire is deadly and 2 hits will cause massive injury or even worse.

Command Center 9 Once the area is quiet, go to the left area of the platform and whack the stacks of nearby crates. Load the Hypershot. Activate the butterfly platform between the 2 buildings and stretch heli-jump to the platform, then stretch heli-jump again to the far side. This is not an easy jump! I had to try it twice before I made it. Once you land on the far side, the garage door opens right in front of you. Load the Plasma Storm and fire 2 plasma bursts into the garage right away.

Command Center 10 Whack all the nearby crates and walk to the left. Grab the 2 Nanotech health cubes. Up the ramp in the next courtyard, the place is crawling with heavy-duty noid security. Walk half-way up the ramp. Load the UltraShield Launcher and deploy a shield almost at the end of the ramp. Load the Rift Inducer. Fire 2 grenades over the first baracades from behind the shield. The mega black-hole will suck in most of the enemies patrolling on the ground nearby, BUT NOT ALL!

Command Center 11 Before walking up the ramp, load the Splitter Rifle and zoom-in to the top of the first tank in the middle. Peg the Commander noid up top. Walk up the ramp to the first set of baracades. Load the Plasma Storm and peg anything that is still moving around at ground level. Load the Splitter Rifle again and peg the other Commander noids on top of the other 2 tanks. Before moving on, climb the tank ladder on the left. Grab the Lawrence Trophy up top (look at arrow in photo on left).

Command Center 12 Go to the invinco-lock terminal on the right side of the garage door. Use the Hacker and decipher the circuits to unlock the door. Inside more noid movement but only 2-3. Load the Plasma Storm go into zoom, and peg each one with 1 shot. Go to the right and crank down the floor bolt with your wrench. This unlocks the reflector dish. Load the Refractor, point the red laser beam to the top of the column. The beam splits in 2. Follow the left beam, walk up the wall and point it into the dish.

Command Center 13 With the refractor still loaded, walk up the ramp on the right to the upper catwalk, and point the other red laser beam into the wall receptacle. The overhead door at the end of the catwalk clunks and opens. Load the UltraShield Launcher and delpoy a shield right in the doorway. Load the Splitter Rifle and from behind the shield, go into sniper mode and peg everything in sight. Clean-out the area, and walk through the doors in the next room. SAVE POINT [Movie sequence begins].

Command Center 14 Dr.Nefarious and his loyal butler Lawrence (turned rock star) are standing on the docking platform, next to the Bio-bliterator. They laugh at Ratchet and tell him he's too late. They teleport into the weapon and zoom off. Roboshack Al drops in with a Ranger transport carrier from the Phoenix and tells Ratchet they know where he's going. Walk up the ramp of the transport ship. Time to confront Nefarious in the final battle.
