After Defeating Ultra Mech Klunk, the Galactic Rangers have asked for Sarge's assistance. There is still some dangerous Noid activity in the city.

Operation Urban Storm Part 1: Countdown

Metropolis 27 The Tyhrranoids have occupied strategic parts of the city and planted timed remote explosives everywhere. When the clock runs out, the entire city will be vaporized. Using the hovership, Ratchet's job is to locate and destroy the 6 spider bomb launchers before it's too late. The first spider bomb is dead ahead below in the main courtyard. Fly down and take-out the spider. Watch-out for saucers and robo-noids shooting at you from in and around the courtyard.

Metropolis 26 2 spider bombs are on the tops of buildings, 1 is in the city center courtyard, and the other 2 are in the corners of connecting bridges. The timer is set at 2 minutes, so you have to work quickly. Don't bother with the cross-fire coming up from the ground. I would only worry about the swivel torpedo launchers and the hovering flying saucers. I would suggest shooting down from above, rather than trying to fly and shoot level with the bombs.
Successful Completion = 10,000 bolts

Operation Urban Storm Part 2: Urban Combat

Metropolis 29 The bomb threat is over, but the Tyhrranoids still control most of Metropolis. The Galactic Rangers are preparing to counter-attack and drive the invaders out, but first they'll need a foot-hold in the city and set-up a defense position. Sky-dive in and make sure the operation goes as planned. OK. So we now have to fight on the ground. Load the Rift Ripper as your first defense, in case you get suprised on the ground. Avoid the surface to air missles as you sky-dive through the clouds.

Metropolis 30 The first wave of Noids comes across the bridge. With the Rift Ripper loaded, fire 1 or 2 grenades right at the end of the bridge near the courtyard. Any noid that comes through the force-field will get sucked into the black hole. Load the Mega-Turret and toss as many spikes as you can (I think 6 max) around the perimter of the courtyard. Flying saucers come in from every direction. Avoid being injured at all costs. Keep moving. Don't stand still for even a second.

Metropolis 31 Injury is unavoidable and the battle gets real tough. The onslaught of enemies can be so intense, you won't know where to focus next. Load the Rift Ripper again, and fire 1-2 grenades at the other bridge. While attacking noids are being sucked away, load the Annihilator and defend the courtyard from the drop-ships and robo-noids that appear. If you're lucky, you'll catch them napping as they materialize.
Successful Completion = 35,000 bolts

Operation Urban Storm Part 3: Tower Attack

Metropolis 22 After failing to destroy the Galactic Ranger assault force, the Tyhrranoids have fallen back to their enemy camp strongholds in the 4 towers surrounding the city center. Using the hovership, Ratchet has to go wipe-out these last pockets of resistance. The towers are fortifed with torpedo launchers that are hidden inside the buildings. Watch-out for missles that seem to come out from nowhere. They should be your first priority when trying to clean-out the enemies from a tower.

Metropolis 23 Once the torpedo swivel launchers are gone, clean-out the noids in each tower checking every level. Watch-out for cross-fire coming from above or below, if you happen to fly too close to any building. I found it best to first circle each tower a few times from a distance, to know what you're up against. The last tower has flying saucers that are patrolling around the perimeter.
Successful Completion = 20,000 bolts

Metropolis 28 Whenever Ratchet starts a battle mission in the hovership, we always start in the same location above the courtyard. There is a titanium bolt in this city area. From the start position go to the left. Go past the first tower with the 2 torpedo launchers in the corners of the terrace. Around the back of that tower, is a metal ramp going up the side of the tower. Fly close and snag the bolt.

Operation Urban Storm Part 4: Air Superiority

Metropolis 24 The ground war has been won, but the skies over Metropolis are still buzzing with enemy ships. Using the hovership, Ratchet has to go wipe-out the enemy air force and achieve air superiority. There are 8 assault noid-ships in all and they are flying around the towers. Take them on one at a time. Because they are always moving, it's not easy to lock-on with the heads-up target square. The key is to be agile when flying and dodge their return-fire as best you can.
Successful completion = 15,000 bolts

Operation Urban Storm Part 5: Turret Command

Metropolis 25 The Thyrranoids have launched a desperate last-ditch offensive to retake Metropolis and the city center. Beat back the assault hover-ships using a newly constructed ion-cannon turret. Point and shoot the cannon as the flying saucers and hover-ships warp-in from thin air. Watch your ion charge right below your health meter. Don't let it run out. Don't waste too much ammo on stray shots, or you'll die before you finish.
Successful completion = 30,000 bolts.

[Movie sequence begins] The Galactic Rangers are thankful that the city is now secure and have a present for Ratchet. Ratchet gets the Map-O-Matic. Now we can go back to the sewers in Aquatos and get the rest of the crystals and a skill point.
