After explroing the crash site on Zeldrin and figuring out the dats on the disk that was left by the escape pod, Sarge is asked to help the Galactic Rangers once again, this time on Aridia. This is the same Planet Aridia from the first Ratchet game.

Operation Death Valley Part 1: The Tunnels Of Outpost X12

The Tyhrranoids have taken over Red Rock Valley and are now coming in through the connecting tunnels to the Ranger base. Our job is to beat back the enemy forces and secure the tunnels. All the Noids have armor packs so they're a bit tougher to take down with just conventional weapons. My choice.. load the Annihilator. Beat down the Noids as they come down the tunnel. When the coast is clear, run into the tunnel to the first connecting bridge. Load the Rift Ripper.

Run across the bridge and half-way, toss 2 rift grenades to the other end of the bridge. Quickly run back for cover at your end of the bridge as the robo-noids and baby noids warp-in at the far end. The black-holes will suck everything that even tries to cross the bridge. Load the Annihilator and take down anything that warps-in after the black holes evaporate. Run across the bridge. Watch-out for 4-eyed Noids with plasma cannons behind the support columns. Take em down bystrafing across with Annihilator missles.

In the next garage, watch-out for robo-noids. Load the Mega-turret and toss 2-3 spikes at both end of the garage. Duck for cover behind one of the many baracades and load the Annihilator. Join in the battle and clean-out the area. Up the ramp, a combat drop-ship hovers in waiting and a few noid saucers. Load the Flux Rifle and in sniper mode, blow them up. Once the area is quiet, walk up the ramp to the valley. Successful completion = 10,000 bolts. NO REPEAT TRY.
