From the starship pad, go the Weapons Vendor. Buy the Negotiator for 200,000 bolts. It'll be one of your favorite weapons, especially as you upgrade. Up ahead are a group of swarming sparkbots. At the very end of the runway platform, you can see something moving on the stairs. There are Cragmite ghost commandos patrolling. You need to penetrate their invisibility shield first, then take them down. I chose the Tornado Launcher to sweep up everything.

At the end of the stairs, use your Decryptor on the floor socket. To bypass the security, guide the electrical pulse across the circuit to the end junction. Use your six axis controller to guide and lock the metal ball over the contact points in this sequence [1+2+3]. You can use the alternate route as well, but the timing between the 3rd and 4th contact point was tight. Once successful, jump to the grind rail that locks into place.

Ride down the first section of rail. There's a gap inside the building. Jump off the rail, then use your Swingshot to tarzan across to the next rail section. If needed, use your Thruster-Pack to glide down to the rail. Ride down the rail, hopping over all the power rings. In some sections, the power rings will double-up even triple-up, making it trickey to clear without injury. Some of our friends are in this prison.. Ace Hardlight, Slim Cognito?

As Ratchet grinds farther into the maze, the power rings and rails become more difficult to traverse. Look down the rail to make sure you know what's coming. In several sections, Ratchet has to jump from rail to rail (more like a hop) avoiding contact with the power rings. In sections, the screencam goes passive, making it hard to see what's up ahead. Trust the camera and be ready. You'll see everything in time to react.

Once you finish the grind rail, Ratchet will be at the entrance to the prison. Completing the grind rail course without injury, DOES NOT earn you any skill point (I'm disappointed). I went through the course 3 times to find that out!
