Fastoon 2.0


Tachyon 1 Ok. So it's all come down to this. The final confrontation with Tachyon to take back the Dimensionator once and for all. Cronk & Zephyr are with you for the start of the mission, to regain control of the planet. Talywn can't land her spacecraft, because the planetary defense cannons are still operational. Ratchet freefalls in from the sky. Avoid the surface to air missles and land in the main city courtyard.

Tachyon 2 First mission is to blow-up the 5 planetary magna cannons. They are all in the vicinity of the main courtyard (don't need to cross the bridge yet). The firefight starts right away as you land. There are several Cragmite transport drop ships that keep bringing in commandos, shielded guards, and temporal warriors of all sizes. Use what ever you got, but my favorite was the Toxic Swarmer beacon then the Mag-Net Cannon, with a dash of Judicator missles when it gets intense.

Tachyon 3 Blow-up the first cannon 1/5 with a few Judicator missles. Your cannon kill total will be in the lower left hand corner. Now go up the central column corkcrew to the top. Fight off the critters with your wrench. Up top, whack the bonus multiplier crate and use the overhead zip line to slide down to the hidden terrace with another cannon. At the end, load the Judicator right away, and take down the 2 temporal warriors (they're big ones), then the cannon 2/5.

Tachyon 4 Suck-up the huge load of raritanium and bolts left behind. Jump down from the terrace and fight off more commandos as they get dropped from transport ships. If you need to know where the fight is, just follow or join up with Cronk & Zephyr. Take down cannon 3/5 with the Judicator, to the left of the bridge, once you've cleaned out the Cragmite military. Don't forget to whack ALL the concrete stone baracades all the way down to the bare steel rods (you'll get bolts).

Tachyon 5 Look for the mag ramp going up the wall of the building to the left of where cannon 3 was. You may remember the layout of the city from the first time you where here. Walk up the mag ramp. Up top, a temporal warrior is waiting. Use the Mag-Net Launcher once he solidifies, then take him down the Judicator. Go around the corner to the left, and use the Tempest Launcher to clean-out the swarm of critters and to break all the crates and anything else breakable.

Tachyon 6 Clean-up all the bolts and raritanium, then walk around the next dark corner. The magna cannon is at the end of the dark hallway out on the balcony. Toss a Toxic Swarmer beacon as you get ambushed down the hall. Take cover back around the corner and unload 100 ammo of Doom Blades (take advantage of wall ricochets). Once it goes quiet, peek around the corner, get a lock-on target and take down cannon 4/5.

Tachyon 7 The last cannon is across the abyss. Watch out for 3 combat saucers. Use your Mag-net Cannon or Judicator to take them down quickly before their laser cannons reach and injure you. Use your Swingshot and tarzan across to the far platform. The fight will be very intense here (probably die once or twice). Use Toxic Swarmer beacons to slow things down, then the Mag-Net Cannon on the warriors. Use the Tempest Launcher to suck-up left-over critters.

Tachyon 8 Use the Judicator to take down cannon 5/5. [action sequence] Talwyn radios in and says she's clear to land now. Meet her back in the courtyard by the bridge. Go up the stairs to the small building. Fight off any warriors left behind, and clean-out the room for bolts, ammo and nanotech health. Go back out across the platform and swingshot back across the abyss to the central courtyard. Talwyn flies in and lands by the central tower. She runs to join you.

Tachyon 9 Talwyn goes to work right away to override the computer security on the drawbridge. Our job is to defend our position and hold ground on the Cragmite assault forces. AND THERE ARE LOTS OF THEM! Waves of commandos drop from transport ships. Use Toxic Swarmers continuously, to keep them at bay, and then the Mag-Net Cannon to freeze them hovering in the sky. The Tempest Launcher will clean-up all the roaming critters, and the Judicator for tough guys.

After a few minutes, Talwyn says she's got it, and the bridge drops down over the canyon. All goes quiet in the courtyard and Talywn, Cronk & Zephyr run up the other side of the bridge. Now is a good time to go back over the courtyard area and break everything (I mean absolutely everything) with your comet strike.
