Cronk & Zephyr have successfully taken down the forcefield protecting the Cragmite base. As Ratchet walks up the main steps, an Imperial Guard walker jumps down from above. Slow him down with the Mag-Net Launcher then 2 quick shots with the Negotiator. At this time my Negotiator upgraded to a V5 Judicator which makes it extra special now. Before going up the elevator pad, go to the left and right halls and clean-out the raritanium chests and bolts.

Up top, Talwyn tells Ratchet to watch out.. another Imperial Guard is coming through the forcefield. use the Mag-Net Launcher on him and then 2 shots with the Judicator. The forecfield is still up and there doesn't seem to be a way to turn it off. Wandering around the area, Clank's Geo-Laser beacon begins to alarm by the rock wall on the right. Use the Geo-Laser and cut through the rock following the (X) targets and tilting the six axis controller.

Walk through the hole in the rock wall to the next building. Seem quiet? Talwyn yells to Ratchet that she'll stay behind and keep guard. Collect the bolts and raritanium from the crates. Use a Fusion Bomb on the hardened metal crates. There's a Developer Commentary bot right by the stairs. Take the elevator pad at the back to the upper level. [movie sequence begins]

Ratchet walks into the courtyard. Emporer Tachyon is waiting eagerly for him to arrive. And look... he has the Dimensionator on his head. Captain Qwark is pinned down under one of Tachyon's mechanical feet. (Can anything else go wrong?) Ratchet demands that Tachyon hand it over because it's too dangerous for anyone to use, but Tachyon laughs it off and says that revenge on the Lombax will be so sweet.

Qwark breaks free and disappears like a coward. Tachyon tries to start the Dimensionator using the pull cord. He tries several times then finally gets it going (to Ratchet's dismay). A time rip unravels in the sky above Tachyon and Ratchet is blown back over the edge of the platform. He is stunned by the consequences, let's go, and freefalls into the mist. Clank yells to Ratchet but no answer. He freefalls.
