Emporer Tachyon demands excellence! Prove your worthy by surviving 3 rounds. Ratchet is actually in a fun disguise wearing glasses and a moustache. Best offence is your shock ravager and combuster. Fight from a distance if you can. Take down the hover electric sentries with fusion grenades = 2,000 bolts + praise from Qwark. Qwark gives Ratchet a hologram to view.

Introducing Crushto:
Take down one of the galaxy's most feared gladiators! Yes Crushto is a boss battle. He doesn't move from the center of the ring but fires weapons. Best offence is 1) all your predator launcher missles 2) all your plasma beasts. 3) all your fusion grenades. 4) unload your combuster as needed using strafe moves = 6,000 bolts.

Deadlines Are Brutal:
Emperor Tachyon demands efficiency! Defeat all gladiators before time runs out. Survive 3 rounds under 120 seconds. Use wide sweeping weapons. Fully upgraded V5 lightning ravager or combuster is preferred. Use fusion grenades or predator launcher missles on the hover electric sentries. Survive on time = 3,000 bolts.

Flaming Cragmite:
Defeat hordes of gladiators without feeling the wrath of the Emporer's fiery glare! 5 rounds with 2 flame thrower statues in the center ring. Use the lightning ravager on the walking gladiators. Use fusion grenades on the hovering electric sentries. Plasma Beasts work well on everything. Survive the fires = 3,000 bolts.

The Lightning Round: (unlock)
Eliminate all enemies using only your Shock Ravager. If only they knew? My arsenal is V5 Lightning Ravager which makes this a walk in the park. 3 rounds with only this weapon. Ammo is the proirity. Make sure you take down groups of enemies with every strike. Reload from the perimeter crates often = 8,000 bolts.

Smack Down At The Disco: (unlock)
Use only your Omniwrench to fight off these rhythmically challenged gladiators. 4 rounds using your wrench. Groovitron orbs pop up in every round. Wait for the dancing to start then whack away quickly. Comet strike is effective in a group. Run away when the music stops. Try to take on only 1 or 2 at a time = 5,000 bolts.

Return To Crushto: (unlock)
Can you crush Crushto in under 1 minute? Timer boss battle. Like before 1) Unload all your predator launcher missles 2) throw all your plasma beasts in a hurry 3) toss all your fusion grenades while circling him then 4) empty your combuster using strafe moves. Should have 5-10 seconds left = 10,000 bolts.

Get Your Dang Hands Off!: (unlock)
Defeat all gladiators without taking any damage (no scratches). 4 rounds of mayheim and Tachyon throws everything but the kitchen sink at you. Be on your toes. Predator launcher missles are a must for anything hovering. If you're in a jam, use a Groovitron orb to back them off. Survive the carnage = 8,000 bolts.

Well Done, Mustachio!:
Pyrocidic statues, Wrathful gladiators, And a time limit that would make Zorthan soil himself. Survive 5 rounds in under 5:00. Nothing challenging that powerful V4 nano-swarmers can't handle. Just keep tossing new beacons as they burn out. Mr.Zurkon can come as your bodyguard. Survive the carnage = 3,000 bolts.

Introducing Zorthan:
Do you have the guts to step into the arena with Zorthan the Irritable? Survive this boss battle. Start with nano-swarmers. Use up ALL your raptor launcher missles then toss in 3-4 alpha disruptor charges and he sleeps like a baby. Mr.Zurkon can help in a pinch towards the end. Survive the battle = 8,000 bolts + pirate holo-guise + a holo-gram from Qwark.

Defeating Zorthan and winning the pirate holo-guise completes your [gadget] array, earning you Skill Point 57: Promoted To Inspector (10 pts.)

Defeating Zorthan also brings out Captain Qwark. He tosses Ratchet a new holo-gram giving him co-ordinates to the IRIS Super Computer believed to be highjacked by pirates out on the Kreeli Comet (hence the holo-guise).

Variety Is The Spice Of Death:
Kill all the gladiators while your weapon switches at random. 5 rounds and you will cycle through ONLY your current weapons arsenal. The tornado launcher was awkward? Use your wrench while the tornado wanders off the platform. Survive the battle = 6,000 bolts.

They Were On Sale:
Survive a non-stop stream of a hundred bomb bots. 5 rounds. A little too easy. I used my V5 Toxic Swarmers fully upgraded with the Zero Kelvin Laser Diode. Just stood there in the middle and let those little green toxic laser stingers do the rest. Survive the battle = 7,000 bolts.

Untouchable: (unlock)
Get hit even once, and you fail. Not for the squeamish. 4 long rounds with spinning blade traps. Best defense is the Toxic Swarmers again complimented with a scattering of Plasma Beasts. If you're trapped, use a Groovitron orb to slow things down then run away. Survive the battle = 10,000 bolts.

Tag Team: (unlock)
Zorthan and Crushto seek to regain their honor. Can you take them both down? This is a matter of smart weapons choice and being patient. Use up your arsenal wisely and strafe to avoid taking injury whenever you have a weapon still working on them. Survive the bosses = 11,000 bolts.

Light A Match Mustachio!: (unlock)
Lethal gas is being released into the arena! No problem if you're over 50 nanotech health points. Do whatever it takes to survive 3 rounds with the gas = 12,000 bolts.

Heavy Hitters: (unlock)
Only gladiators tough enough to wield an Alpha Disruptor are permitted. 4 rounds with just this 1 weapon, with spinning blades in your way. Wait for the recharge burst, get a lock-on target, then fire. Survive the carnage = 5,000 bolts.

Zorthan's Revenge: (unlock)
You killed his family. You framed him for murder. Okay, maybe not? But he's pissed off anyway. He's on a timer. Take him down in under 2:30. Survive the boss battle = 13,000 bolts.

Everybody Wants A Piece Of Mustachio: (unlock)
Are you crazy enough to take on 5 rounds of enemies and gladiators AND Crushto then Zorthan? Use your reload crates around the perimeter often, Just survive... pure and simple! = 15,000 bolts. Do this 3-4 times to build your bolt reserve and to get experience on your novice weapons.
