Jasindu 1 Jasindu is the home planet for the Kerchu race. They are as sinister and ruthless like the Cragmites, but are known for being excellent engineers. Pirates certainly have no use for them. From the launch pad go down the path towards the city. Cerullean frogs are everywhere. Use the Pyro Blaster or Lightning Ravager and take care of business. Cross the small islands. Up ahead, pirates are fighting a Kerchu Pryoguard. They are paying no attention to Ratchet.

Jasindu 2 Surprise them from behind and take them down with your favorite weapon (or wrench). The Pyroguard starts tossing flame balls. Run up and torch him with your Pyro Blaster (there's a reason for doing it this way). Before going up the hill, look to your right. There's a small hidden ledge up in the cliffs. You can see the crates. Go to the cliff and super jump to the ledge. Up top pick-up holo-plan piece 9/13. Jump back down and start walking up the hill. Watch for pirates.

This seemed like the perfect venue for the Tornado Launcher. Toss a vortex and steer into the pirates using the six axis controller. If you need to slow them down first, toss a Groovitron Orb, THEN use the tornado. Go the right and clean out the crates. Another wave of shielded pirates attacks. The tornado launcher works well on them too. The 2nd time I went through this area (to find the holopan piece) I acquired a new device called the Transmorpher.

Jasindu 3 The Transmporpher turns enemies into penguins (for all you animal lovers). Find a pirate or group of them, and use the Transmorpher. They stay in penguin form for about 10 seconds, then revert back if you don't shoot them. Once in penguin form, load the Visicopter, home-in and shoot a penguin from above. This will earn you Skill Point 46: Roflcopter (20 pts). Now walk up the hill and go to the right. There's a Pyroguard perched on the roof of a nearby building.

Jasindu 4 Load the Negotiator, Watch for the lock-on target and take him down with 2 missles. As you walk up to the building, an electrified pirate sentry busts out from a chest. Take him down with 2 missles. More pirates swoop down and attack. Use your Lightning Ravager or use the Tornado Launcher to suck them all up. Go inside the building. Take care of the 2 pirates and clean-up the goodies. Walk outside and GO TO THE LEFT. There's a series of steps.

Jasindu 5 Walk up the steps and jump to the roof of the building (where the Pyroguard was perched). Load the Negotiator and kill the 2 pirates up ahead. Sweep up all the raritanium left behind (and visicopter ammo). Go up the path to the next building. Wait for the chest to burst and then take down the electrified pirate sentry with your Negotiator. Go inside the building and clean out all the crates for lots of goodies. Down the next walkway, more patrolling pirates.

Jasindu 6 These pirates have plasma guns and will have you pegged down on the walkway (not much room to move). Move back out of their gun range and load the Visicopter. Use the six axis controller and guide the Visicopter close to the pirates. When you get a lock-on target, fire 1 missle on each pirate. Use [triangle] to shut-down the copter. There's a glowing bolt out on the walkway [X]. Clean-out the crates. Grab gold bolt #24. Use the zipline to get back down.

Jasindu 7 In the next open area there's a cannon turret and several patrolling pirates. NOTE: If you didn't encounter the Pyroguard on top of the building, you'll get him now! Load the Negotiator and take down the pirates once they see you. Make sure you take down the pirate manning the turret FIRST, or life will be difficult. Clean-out the crates in the area and wait for the pirate ship to come by and dock. Walk the plank to board the ship and take the pirate taxi for a ride.

Jasindu 8 Keep the Negotiator loaded on the ship. Look for the fuel towers (on your left) along the side of the retaining wall of the factory. Use zoom aim [L1] and take out the 2 breakable towers [X]. Shoot any pirates that come out onto the deck. Ride the pirate taxi til it stops. DON'T GET OFF YET. There's another fuel tower on the other cliff. Go to the bow of the ship, zoom aim on the tower and destroy it. If you got 3 towers, you'll earn Skill Point 37: Dead Aim (10 pts).

Jasindu 9 Walk off the pirate taxi. Go to the right to the Weapons Vendor. There's a new weapon for sale! Buy the Razor Claws for 125,000 bolts. Reload on ammo and upgrade the Negotiator with your raritanium (you'll be thankful). There's a Developer Commentary holo-bot on the left (if you want a distraction). Load your Pyro Blaster and take on the Pyroguard. If you've take down 2 Kerchu Pyroguards with flames, you'll earn Skill Point 38: Fire With Fire (10 pts).

Jasindu 10 Once the area is clear, walk into the factory area. Watch-out for 3 Kerchu cyclone sentries patrolling. Load the Negotiator and fire 2 missles at each one. They'll go down even if they're in ball attack mode. Just be careful, not to get ambushed by a moving razor ball while trying to fire on another sentry. Clean up all the bolts, whack all the nearby crates, and walk out to the bridge. There's a larger Kerchu Pyroguard patrolling. Take him down with the Negotiator.

Jasindu 11 Up ahead, a large pirate transport ship rams the factory retaining wall dropping several pirates down to the open area. Before they get too close, load the Tornado Launcher and steer a vortex with the six axis controller, at the group of pirates. Hopefully you can suck'em all up in one pass. Wait for the vortex to dissipate and collect the goodies left behind. Got to the bolt crank in the floor and open the door to the factory. More pirates will run down the ramp to greet you.

Jasindu 12 Inside the factory, lots of crates line the walls. Look for the muliplier bonus crate. Whack that crate first then clean-out all the crates. Load the Aplha Disruptor and walk down the ramp just a little. There's a sentry chest in the room below and 2 pirates patrolling. Zoom-in on the target and fire 2 blasts with the Disruptor. Now that he's out of the way, load any weapon, break the wall of crates and take down the pirates. Go down the ramp on the left to the bottom.

Jasindu 14 Another transport ship stops just outside the door and drops more pirates. Load the Tornado Launcher. Fire a vortex at the swarm of pirates. At this point, my Tornado Launcher upgraded to V5 Tempest Launcher. Now I have the added kick of an energy bolt inside the vortex. After the vortex dissapates, pick-up the pieces and go outside to the elevator deck. Ratchet is automatically taken down to the lower level. As you walk off, the elevator deck goes back up.

Jasindu 15 The only way forward is by Swingshot. Look to the overhead versa targets and trazan across the water to the circular island platform. Here, there's a Weapons AND Device Vendor. Load up on devices and weapons ammo. You have the option of using the teleport pad to go back to your ship, or go forward to face the Kerchu Boss. I still need to get to the boss, so Swingshot across to the far island platform. [movie sequence begins]
