On this mission, Clank is on his own. He has no weapons and his nanotech health is limited to 5 points. Be careful not to get hit by enemies.

Clank is not really alone. Several Zoni ghost robots will accompany Clank through this mission and will help perform complex tasks (just like the nanobots did in other Ratchet games). Clank controls the Zoni by using commands. First, use the follow command to get the 3 nearby Zoni to respond to you. This lights the first telepad in the room. Standing on the telepad opens the overhead door leading out into the mine. Quickly run into the next room. The Zoni will instinctively follow.

The next telepad opens the door leading into the next mine area. It's too far to reach just by running. Clank acquires a new power. Use [R1] to slow down time. The screen will fade to black & white and Clank can now run up the path and through the doorway as everything around him moves in slow motion. The Zoni follow. In the next room, lots of goodies. Whack all the raw raritanium crystal outcrops. There are 3 telepads in this room. All 3 have to be lit in sequence before the timer runs out, to open the next door.

To cross the gap in the floor, Clank acquires the power to levitate. It's on a short timer and only works for about 5 seconds, but just long enough to cross. Use [R1] to slow down time and then the levitate command. Step on all 3 telepads and activate the next door. Whack all the raritanium crystals on your way out. In the next room, there are battering rams. Slow down time [R1] and run past the rams. Let the Zoni take care of the Drophyd. They will zap him to death. Run past the next set of battering rams.

Use the levitate command and then slow down time to cross the gap in the floor. It's tight. If you miss and fall, you'll have to start at the beginning of the mine. There are NO checkpoints so far into the mine. On the next platform, tease the Drophyds to start firing at you, but keep your distance. Let the Zoni fire plasma ghost bombs at them for you. Whack the nearby crates for nanotech health (if needed) and bolts.

The next section is just pure evil! The mine conveyor belts are travelling at very high speed. The belts are lined with sections of spikes to make matters worse. Slow down time [R1] and run down the conveyor belts avoiding the spike sections. The Zoni will follow. In the next cave, tell the Zoni to repair the platform by using the manipulate command. Whack all the raritanium crystals. Use the platform elevator and go into the next mining cave. More hybrid Drophyds are patrolling. Let the Zoni do their thing.

Before going into the next area, Clank has to find and activate 4 more Zoni. Find the group of Zoni, use the follow command to get them all together, then use the manipulate command to get all 7 Zoni to stand on the white lights and repair the elevator platform. Use the elevator to go to the next section. The next section is hard. This is A CHECKPOINT. Whack all the nearby crates for bolts and nanotech.

You'll have to slow down time all the way across these conveyor belts. Jump across the 2 belts to the long belt. Ride along the belt TIL THE VERY END. When the belt starts to curl under use the levitate command and slow time [R1] to float to the next belt section. Clank has to time this perfectly, or you'll fall to your death. Once on the next plaftorm, let your Zoni friends reappear and fight all the Drophyds patrolling. Use manipulate command to get ALL 7 Zoni to repair the bridge. Whack the raritanium nearby.

Go up the next elevator bridge. In the next cave, collect all the raritanium, whack all the crates and use the manipulate command to get all the Zoni to repair the last elevator platform. [movie sequence begins] All the Zoni huddle around Clank and seduce him on another dream. He sees Planet Fastoon at nightime. A battle is brewing. Clank returns to the cave. Pick-up spaceship part 4/6 that just appeared.

To exit the mine area, walk over the last elevator bridge. Take the platform down to the floor below. We're now at the entrance where we first came in. Use [triangle] and exit back to the courtyard and rejoin Ratchet.
