[movie sequence] Ratchet & Clank crash land (well almost) on Fastoon inside Lombax City. The whole city lies in ruins and there are no local Lombax citizens to be found anywhere. There was an epic battle here with the Cragmites a long time ago and everyone fled to another part of the galaxy. The escape pod they used from Kortog was a one-way trip. The duo is going to have to find another way to get off this planet.

Go to the Weapons Vendor first and load-up on anything you need. At this time, I bought the plasma beasts. I also upgraded the combuster with all my raritanium reserves. Search the area. Use your swingshot and tarzan across the versa-target to the main courtyard of the city. Up ahead is a broken Lombax fighter spacesehip. Ratchet thinks he can repair it? He needs to retrieve 6 spaceship parts to get it running again. Time to go on a scavenger hunt.

If you look closely, Ratchet's weapon has changed. The combuster is now a magma combuster V5 and has been fully upgraded with the latest in nanotech. It costs roughly 1,300 raritanium crystals to upgrade fully to 200% damage, firepower range & speed, bolt earning power and the secret pyrcodic precipitation. Of course we want more? The local population of new enemies here are called Drophyds.

Drophyds are like scavengers and landed here after the Lombax and Cragmites abandoned the planet. Drophyds come in 2 sizes and are quite easy to destroy. Area weapons are best. Drophyds spawn from hive plants. When you come across a swarm, make sure you destroy the hive as well, or they'll keep coming. Climb up the central courtyard tower (looks like a corkscrew). Up top open the treasure chest and grab the raritanium. Go right. Pick-up spaceship part 1/6 [X].

Right next to the part is a multiplier bonus crate. Note the overhead zip line leading to an alcove with huge stacks of crates. Time to make some serious bolt money. Whack the crate to activate the multiplier bonus. Stand under the zip line, tap [X], and slide down to the alcove. Whack away! Watch your bolt total climb like crazy. From here, you can heli-glide back to the Weapons Vendor, reload and upgrade, buy a weapon?

Use the swingshot again and return to the courtyard. Climb the large flat boulder steps to the back terrace. You can see the floating part at the end of the terrace [X]. Load your shock ravager and zap all the critters along the walkway (don't forget the hives). Work your way around to the end of the terrace and pick-up spaceship part 2/6. Use the overhead zip line and slide down to the main courtyard again. Take care of the Drophyds scrounging around.

In the courtyard, look to the building on the left. There's a mag ramp on the side of the wall leading up to the 2nd storey opening. Walk up the mag ramp. Inside the building, lot's of Drophyds. Take care of business. Captain Qwark chimes in and says he has a holo-invite for Ratchet. When he gets a decoder he can watch the message. Whack all the crates down the dark corridor. More Drophyds come out of the walls. Take care of them all with the shock ravager.

Walk out to the balcony. Pick-up spaceship part 3/6. Wrench the 2 hybrid Drophyds then heli-glide back down to the courtyard. Go across to the other side. Whack 2 more Drophyd hives and clean-out all the bolts. Don't forget to whack any lamp poles and transformers for bolts. There's a small pipe opening that only Clank can get through. Let Clank go on his own into the raritanium nine.
