After infiltrating the entrance to MegaCorp HQ, we now find ourselves deep inside the complex. This is a [continue point].

Planet Yeedil 10 The teleport pad here will take you back to your ship. Near your ship by the entrance, there is now another teleport pad, that will return you here, inside the MegaCorp complex, so no fear of having to go through those tanks again! Use the MegaCorp kiosk and load up on everything you can (within reason). DON'T SAVE YOUR BOLTS!! It's about to get nasty!

Planet Yeedil 11 Take a deep breath! Load the Shield Charger + Killinoids + Megaturret Glove. Run down the hall. 2 Security Troopers will run out and block the way. Toss 3-4 spikes and let the missle fire distract the troopers. Load the HK22 Seeker Gun and while the turrets and Killinoids fight, fire 2-3 seeker drones to help take down the troopers. A 3rd trooper is off to the right. Hopefully the turrets will work on him, once the first 2 are destroyed. Run back to the kiosk and reload what you need.

Planet Yeedil 12 Go back down the hall and to the right. Go inside the big power chamber. Walk across the glass catwalk to the center platform. Ratchet can climb the side of the center cone to the top. Watch for Security Troopers everywhere. They materialize along the perimeter of the glass catwalk and also up ahead. They are hiding behind a set of permanent baracades. This is a tough fight! Load the Megarocket Cannon. There are 12-16 Security Troopers behind the baracades. Every time one goes down, another one appears.

Planet Yeedil 13 COMBAT STRATEGY: You're going to find out in a hurry, that this is a HUGE ammo drain. You'll run out of seeker drones, and cannon missles before the troopers are taken care of. You may want to run the gauntlet while under fire, and just jump over the baracades and run to the back room on the left, while the Security Troopers fire away. You can do it with virtually no injury. Once inside the next hallway, the guards will stop firing and there's a Nanotech health cube there.

Planet Yeedil 14 Whack the 3-4 protopets that pop out of the crate, with your wrench. Up ahead is another power chamber. Load the Dynamo. Lock-on to the magneto switch above the fan blades and zap the switch. Jump to the fan blade as it moves and jump off at the center platform. Quickly load the HK22 Seeker Gun. 4 Security Troopers come flying down from above. Your Killinoids will start to fire on them right away before you see them. Fire lots of seeker drones high in the air. Use your zoom auto-aim to point the seeker up.

Planet Yeedil 15 Once they are gone, load the Dynamo again and zap the next 2 magneto switches. Ride the 2 fan blades and jump off at the next hallway. Run for cover behind the baracade up ahead on the right. THIS IS BAD! There's a tank waiting to open fire on you, at least 6 Security Troopers behind the tank, and 2 Security Troopers high up on ledges in the corners of the room. Make sure your Shield Charger + Killinoids are intact and load the Megaturret Glove. Run out into the room.

HINT STRATEGY: Should you happen to die anywhere along this combat adventure, Ratchet will have to start way back by the teleport pad and all the enemy fights will have to be conquered again. IN ADDITION, in the second battle room, Ratchet will probably run very low on Shields and ammo for KEY WEAPONS. You may want to consider running all the way back to the MegaCorp kiosk again, to reload, and then work your way back (less trooper resistance). There's still lots of fights coming!

Planet Yeedil 16 Run past the tank, and toss 4-5 turret spikes right in the middle of the room just past the line of baracades. You'll be up close with the troopers. Run back past the tank and duck for cover behind the baracade. Watch the fireworks, as the turret fire lights up the room. While this is going on, load the Megarocket Cannon and take care of the tank with 4 missles. Now load the Vaporizer. Zoom-in and auto-aim on one of the troopers up on the ledge. Peg him with 2-3 long range shots.

Zoom-in on the other trooper on the other side and peg him with 2 vaporizer shots. Reload the Megaturret Glove and run back out into the room again. Toss 3-4 more spikes in the middle of the room. No need to run back this time. Hide behind the closest baracade and watch the turrets fire away. Load the HK22 Seeker Gun and from behind the baracade, jump in mid-air and fire some drones. They will dive down on the troopers as they are pre-occupied with the turrets. More troopers will appear. Take care of each wave of troopers as they appear. Hopefully, you'll survive!!

Planet Yeedil 17 Once security is gone, go to the door. Use the Infiltrator and decipher the ball puzzle to break the invinco-lock. After the door opens, walk into the next room with the frozen pool. Load the Seeker Gun and fire 3-4 sets of drones to clean-up the protopets skating around. Jump to the hover pad. Watch the cycle of the next pad. When the pad stops all the way down, and the pad you're on, is all the way up, heli-jump and glide to the next pad. You'll just make the edge and hang. Pull up.

Planet Yeedil 18 Jump to the next hover pad, and then to the hallway. Whack the protopets as they pop from the crate. Go to the end of the hallway to the big open chamber. This is a bottomless pit and the only way to cross is with the swingshot and the versa targets. Up ahead are 2 security tanks waiting. From the safety of the hallway, load the Megarocket Cannon and lock the target ring on one of the tanks. Fire 6 rockets in sequence about 2 seconds apart. This should explode a tank.

The other tank will start firing pulse bursts at you. Wait for the pulse bursts to stop, then lock-in the target ring on the 2nd tank. Fire 6 more rocket missles. Once they are both destroyed, a cut-away scene shows a new versa-target coming into play on the other side of a conveyer. Load the Swingshot and tarzan across to the conveyer in the middle of the big room. Let the conveyer, take you all the way to the left. Watch for the versa target. When it comes into range, swing across to safety.

Planet Yeedil 19 Walk down the catwalk and then to the left. WHAT A RELIEF!! A MegaCorp kiosk + 3 Nanotech health cubes + a huge stack of bolt crates. Load up my friend! Overhead is a twisty grindrail that we can't get to. On the pillar to the left, is another invinco-lock. Use the Electrolyzer and decipher the electrode grid. This will unlock the square hover platform by the kiosk. Jump on the hover platform and ride over to the other side of the room. Note the platinum bolt overhead??

Planet Yeedil 20 Before going into the next room, load the Shield Charger + Killinoids + Megaturret Glove. Get ready for another trooper battle! Run into the room and toss 5-6 turrets right by the cargo hangar at the end. Run back to the hallway. Load the HK22 Seeker Gun and fire 5-6 drones to take care of the protopets that start to explode from the nearby crates. Load the Megarocket Cannon and help out the Killinoids. Keep shooting until all the waves of troopers are gone.

Planet Yeedil 21 Once everything is quiet again, load the Tractor Beam. There is one cylinder in the room, on the right, with a large tractor bullseye. Zap the column and move it out of the way. You now have access to the grindrail. Jump on the grindrail and follow it all the way around to the end. Grab the platinum bolt and jump back down to the hallway. Woohoo! The last platinum bolt #40!!! Go back inside the room and load the Vaporizer. Zoom-in on the hover tank up ahead. 4 shots with the Vaporizer will do the trick.

Planet Yeedil 22 Once the tank is gone, jump up to the ledge and load the Swingshot. Zap the blue versa-target on the underside of the bridge and pull it down. Quickly load the Shield Charger + Killinoids + Megaturret Glove. Security Troopers materialize at the other end and start running across the bridge. Toss 5-6 spikes right on the bridge. Let them take the heat before they can reach you. Toss more spikes as needed.. The battle's over! Walk across the bridge and approach the door. Long movie sequence begins.


Planet Yeedil 23 Look who it is? None other then Captain Qwark! (or should I say "Steve")... He is STILL selling those Hygenators and making a pile of money from faulty merchandise. He has been the one all along, who was behind the protopet mayheim. Nothing like trying to buy some support for being a super-hero? Well I guess he has to have a pathetic reason to save the world from evil.

Planet Yeedil 24 Angela finally catches up with Ratchet & Clank inside the Lab. Fizzwidget makes a grand entrance into the room. All of a sudden, Fizzwidget turns into Qwark as he unzips a disguise. He was pretending to be Fizzwidget all along. Now he takes Angela's electrode device, as 2 security guards come in and corner Ratchet + Angela.

Planet Yeedil 25 Qwark plans on using Angela's device to save the world and to claim credit for curing the protopets, and at the same time, lying to everyone in the galaxy that Ratchet is to blame. But... like everything else Qwark has done, this goes terribly wrong. The original breeding protopet turns into a huge monster, swallowing Qwark in the process. Time for the final battle!

MUTANT PROTOPET FINAL BATTLE: Ratchet has 2 choices here. You can go into the arena now and go fight the Protopet, or take the teleport pad back to the shuttle pad and try to re-group. There is a new return teleport pad that will take you right here to the entrance to the MegaCorp Lab. I suggest you get some more weapons?
