From the shuttle docking platform, walk down the spur to the left. Jump on the triangular bounce pad and press [X]. Ratchet is catapulted (through the air) over to the huge warehouse ship.

Planet Smolg 10 Inside the cargo bay of the warehouse ship, there are massive stacks of cargo containers. There is a forcefield blocking the walkway deep into the warehouse. Whack all the crates in the open area. Before walking over the floor sensor, load the Shield Charger and Synthenoids. There's a hungry snapper waiting to attack, right behind the forcefield. Load the Minirocket Tube and walk over the floor sensor. The snapper will start to attack.

Planet Smolg 11 Your Synthenoids will start to fire away at the snapper, but all they do is soften him up and they won't slow him down. 1-2 good hits with a rocket missle will take him down. Go to the left, take down the grulch lizard-dogs with your wrench and then drop to the next open area. 2 snappers crawl out of 2 trap-door containers. Fire 2-3 rockets and let your Snythenoids help out. Whack the crates and heli-jump on top of the cargo containers to the left.

Planet Smolg 12 Whack the 2 grulch dogs running around up top. Look down the next passage to the open area up ahead. Make sure your Shield Charger is still intact and jump down to the floor. Walk slowly. Another 3 snappers are alerted and bust out of the nearby containers. Run back as they chase you and jump to safety, on top of the container. They can't get at you from up top. Load the Megaturret Glove and toss 4-5 rocket spikes down to the lower area. They will home-in and destroy the snappers. The Ultra weapon shock-mod really helps here.

Planet Smolg 13 Once the coast is clear, walk down past the open area, and jump up the set of containers on the right and walk through the gap. Down below is another open area. There are 4-5 forcefields holding in a snapper behind each forcefield. In the open area, there are several grulch dogs running around and a robot hive generator. Load the Synthenoids. Jump down to the lower area and stay clear of the floor sensor. Whack the grulches with your wrench before they run over the floor sensor. Destroy the hive generator first.

HEAVY WEAPON UPGRADE: At this point of the game, my minirocket tube upgraded to the heavy weapon Megarocket Cannon. This is much more powerful than the minirocket and has the multi-warhead feature. By holding down the fire button, Ratchet can send 4 rockets at a time, which will virtually take down any nasty enemy in one shot. You do use 4 pieces of ammo at a time though.

Planet Smolg 14 Load the Megaturret Glove and toss 1 or 2 spikes in front of each forcefield. Run over the floor sensor. This will disarm the forcefields releasing the snappers. Stand far back from the turrets as they fire away. Load the Megarocket Cannon and watch for stray snappers that may make it through the turret fire. Go to the left down the long passageway. It's a little dark but your auto-aim target ring on the cannon will pick up the snapper hiding on the left. 2-3 quick missles will take care of him before he sees you.

Planet Smolg 15 Down at the very end of the open area, are several grulch dogs roaming around. From a distance, load the HK22 Seeker Gun and fire 2-3 rounds of drones. They fly to the end, dive and destroy the grulches and the hive. To the left are 2 more snappers. Fire 2-3 more sets of drones and clean-out the area. To the far left is an open area with a conveyer belt, and a floating electric switch. On the conveyer belt is a small crate. Jump on the crate first then load the Dynamo. Aim off the side of the crate and zap the switch.

The conveyer will start to move. As you ride down the conveyer, look for an opening in the stack of crates near the end of the conveyer. Heli-jump from the top of the crate over to the gap in the containers.

Planet Smolg 16 If you were looking around while riding on the conveyer, you may have noticed the glow of a platinum bolt off in the distance, very high up. It looks impossible to get to. We need to get higher up on the stack of crates. Right where you jump from the conveyer, Ratchet lands between 2 containers. You can bounce up the walls of these 2 containers. Once up top, jump over the top of the containers to the gap. Heli-jump across the open area to the stack of the containers on the far side. Grab the platinum bolt and backtrack.

Planet Smolg 17 This is Ratchet's exact position where you can bounce up the container walls to the left and right, to get the platinum bolt. From here, load the Dynamo. Jump inside the open square crate hanging from the crane. Zap the electric switch. The container will start to move to the left. Walk to the other end of the square crate and when it clears the row of containers, heli-jump over to the tops of the containers that are at the same level. Whack the grulch dogs running around.

Planet Smolg 18 Walk to the next open area down below. Jump down to the floor area. There doesn't look to be any way out. All the containers are at least 2 stacks high and impossible to climb. Load the Shield Charger + Synthenoids and Megarocket Cannon. As Ratchet walks towards the 4-high container wall straight ahead, the bottom containers start to explode. Snappers start to attack as the container wall collapses. Peg the snappers as they come close. More containers will collapse and explode as snappers die off.

Planet Smolg 19 Once the fighting is over, the container wall will be completely gone and we can walk to the next conveyer belt. Load the Dynamo, jump on the conveyer hopper and zap the nearby switch. As the conveyer moves, look ahead for a switch on the right. Before you stop on the conveyer, zap the next switch. An overhead crane will drop down and grab the hopper. The hopper now moves up like an elevator to an upper balcony. Jump off the hopper at the top, before the switch resets.

Planet Smolg 20 To activate the circular elevator, load the Electrolyzer. Decipher the electrode grid network and release the lock on the elevator. Take the elevator to the top, then walk out to the deck platform, outside the warehouse ship. As you approach the grind rail a movie sequence begins... A small hover device comes down to the platform. It's a balloon-o-gram from Angela. It was the only way she could get a message out to Ratchet and Clank from her home on Planet Grelbin.

Planet Smolg 21 Angela has found her security pass for MegaCorp HeadQuarters. She wants Ratchet & Clank to come to her home on Grelbin and get the card from her. She is over-run with proto-pets and can't leave. She gives Ratchet the co-ordinates for the planet and then the balloon-o-gram cuts out. Ride the grindrail down to the cargo deck area. Mission complete.
