Once you've made it to the back of the convoy truck, you can always come back to this point using the tele-port pad.

Make sure you visit the MegaCorp kiosk and load up on ammo before you go on the convoy ride. MegaCorp crates are going ot be hard to find and it wouldn't be pretty running out of ammo while you're trying to reach the front. Heli-jump on the back tail-gate of the truck. This will set the convoy in motion as the tail-gate closes behind you. Hang on!!

The ride is a little bumpy and weapons will act a little differently from what you expect. As the convoy goes up and down over hills, some weapon fire may stray up or down unexpectedly. Load the mini-turret glove and toss a canister by the compartment door. Several V3 chainsaw robots come out and start to attack Ratchet. Load the heavy lancer or blitz gun and take-out any stray robot the turret misses. Once clear, the front hatch of the truck opens and we can see the convoy up ahead. These are awesome graphics!!

Above the next truck, up ahead in the convoy, there's a new versa-target. Load the swingshot and stand at the very end of the front tailgate. When the trucks line-up, fire the tether and secure the target. Swing over to the next truck. Load the blitz gun. Walk up the ramp on the right to the roof. Blast away at all the chainsaw robots and bladeballs up top. Watch your step. Don't fall off the side whatever you do! The thief will come by on a hover-board and starts cursing Ratchet.

Load the pulse rifle and zoom-in just a little on the target ring. Try to be as steady as you can with the target moving around and fire one clean shot quickly. This will spook the thief and he tears off on his hover-board.

Above the truck, ahead in the convoy, there's another versa-target. Load the swingshot and stand at the very end of the roof. When the trucks line-up, fire the tether. Swing over to the next truck. Load the blitz gun. Inside the truck, several blade balls materialize. Blast away turning around in circles. Avoid the pop-out knives. Grab the Nanotech health sphere. Go through the next small doorway and blast the V3 chainsaw robots. Walk-out to the next open tailgate.

Find the versa-target for the next truck and swing over. Climb the ramp on the right side of the truck up to the roof. Load the mini-turret glove and toss 2 canisters right away. Load the blitz gun and take-out any stray robots that aren't fired on by the mini-turrets. V3 flamethrower robots materialize as well, so dodge the fire blasts as best you can. The thief drops by on his hover board and enters into the fight. He now has a weapon and starts firing at Ratchet. Great??

Load the seeker gun and jump into the air. From the top of a heli-jump, rapid-fire 2-3 drones at the thief. If you miss or the seeker drones stray, fire some more. Eventually his hover board will misfire, there's an explosion and he veers off in a tailspin. The explosion stops the convoy. Movie sequence begins. The truck flips over in slow motion and lands on its side along a pier in the middle of a frozen lake. Ratchet seems to be fine. The thief has gone ahead to a rocket launch pad.

Jump down from the side of the truck and walk down the pier. Climb the ladder on the right to a curved platform. Load the heavy lancer or seeker gun. Take-out the V3 flamethrower robots approaching from the other end. Watch out for blade balls. Lots of them pop-up from the floor sensors in the platform. Blast away as best you can from close range. You may want to use your trusty wrench. Eventually the blade balls stop. Climb the steps at the end.

On the upper platform, there's a MegaCorp kiosk and a tele-port pad. Uh Oh!! Obviously a BIG BOSS FIGHT with the thief, is coming up? To the left is huge open arena. To the right, is a nice big stack of crates. Whack away for lots of bolts and springs (2,000 anyway). The tele-port pad goes back to Ratchet's Star Explorer ship at the start of the level. Go back to the ship or SAVE GAME HERE! Mission complete.
