Clank has successfully turned off the power to the prison cells. The forcefields around all the holding cells have now evaporated.

Planet Aranos 10 Ratchet has to now find a way out of the prison and get back to his spaceship. Load the Megarocket Cannon. There are 2 - MK2 flamethrower robots standing guard over the prisoners. Let the auto-aim target ring find them and fire 1 rocket missle at each robot. Off to the right is a convenient MegaCorp kiosk. Load up on ammo before you go venturing off. Remember, that you don't have Clank with you, so no heli-glide.

Planet Aranos 11 Go down the hallway, whack all the crates and go right at the end of the hall. With the Cannon still loaded, take down the 3 flamthrower robot guards blocking the doorway. Walk on the platform where the flamethrowers were. The platform moves 90 degrees to the left. We are now up along the wall. 3 flamethrower robots come down on tether cables from the roof (from the left side). Let the auto-aim target ring find them, one at a time, and fire the cannon. Go to the other swivel platform. Ratchet goes to another tunnel opening.

Planet Aranos 12 Inside the next room are several nasty MK2 flamethrowers. Try to avoid their fireball fire as best you can. Run to the platform on the far wall and climb up. If you stand back on the platform, the fireballs won't reach you. Peg all the robots and then go down to the floor level and clean up all the bolts. Climb back on the platform. Jump to the first platform by the wall. A new platform materializes right ahead. Jump to that platform. The platform behind you, vaporizes.

Planet Aranos 13 Don't waste time standing on a platform. It will last for about 2-3 seconds. Jump from platform to platform and finally to the balcony on the far side. Should you happen to miss a platform or stand on a platform that vaporizes under you, you fall to the floor and have to start over. On the upper balcony, whack all the nearby crates. Down the hallway are 2 flamethrower robots at close range. Load the Spiderbot Glove and toss a spiderbot on the floor. Walk the sipderbot down the ramp and run into a flamethrower.

Take care of the 2 flamethrowers and then walk down the hallway. Bounce up the 2 walls at the end. The gameplay returns back to Clank back inside the power vents.

Return Visit

Planet Aranos 19 Ratchet is now in a huge power chamber. Walk across the sidewalk and grab the new wrench! This is a Carbonox Wrench and will add more zing against any new tougher enemy. Bounce off the wall on the left and up to the wall platform. Jump to the next platform then bounce off the next diagonal platform. Jump up to the next platform, then to the balcony up top. This is a tough series of jumps on timer platforms.. Be patient! Chances are you'll do this a few times.

Planet Aranos 20 Up top, walk down the ramp, outside. This is very strange! Ratchet is now walking on the side of the flying prison. You can see the mountains going by, beneath you. You can almost feel the wind. Load the Megarocket Cannon. Up ahead, there are series of floor tiles that are a different color. As you walk closer, the tiles flip over and MK3 flamethrower security robots come out. These guys shoot very very fast. Fire 1-2 missles right away, as soon as they come out. DON'T WAIT!

Planet Aranos 21 Work your way to the end of the tiles. Back inside are more nasty MK3 flamethrower robots. Load the Synthenoids and then open fire with the Megarocket Cannon. Ratchet will probably take some injury. Once the area is clear, make your way to the far wall. The next set of wall platforms is tough and may take awhile to master. DON'T USE THE SOMMERSAULT EXTENDED JUMP. Jump and bounce off the platforms in sequence, all the way to the balcony. Walk outside to the space deck. Mission complete.
