This planet is split into 2 sections. On the left, down the pier, there's a teleport pad taking Ratchet down to the power plant. We don't want to go there just yet. Up ahead on the next pier is the MegaCorp Armor Kiosk. This is something new, like a clothing division? Buy the Tetrafiber Armor for 25,000 bolts. It will help Ratchet repel 33 percent of incoming weapon damage. The platform dome lights and crates are worth a small fortune in bolts. Whack everything breakable!
If we need to buy armor, you know the enemies here are going to be tough! The little guys running around are V2 Chickenbots. They need 2 good whacks with the wrench or a really good mini-nuke explosion. The big guys patrolling the platforms are the MegaCorp Troopers. They carry dual-shot plasma rifles that fire from very long range and they always travel in packs of 3-4-8. They like to hide behind baracades and ambush, so be very very careful when coming into open areas.
Load the Vaporizer. Zoom-in on one of the troopers and fire one shot. Hopefully both will go down from the explosion. If not, finish off the second one with another shot. MegaCorp troopers, break apart into 2 pieces. The torso will explode on its own about 5 seconds after the top. Jump to the far pier. Load the Minirocket Tube and take down the next 2 troopers that run out. Inside the room on the right, are lots of crates and a Nanotech health cube. Look left.
Load the Dynamo and zap the first gyro ball. Jump to the temporary hover pad and zap the 2nd gyro ball. Now jump to the small pier crowded with chickenbots. Whack away with your wrench and clean-up the platform. Up on the next platform, 2 troopers are now waiting at close range. Load the Synthenoids first, for protection. Now load the Minirocket and jump up to the platform. While the troopers are distracted with the Synthenoids, fire 2 rockets, one at each one. Life is good!
STAY HERE! Don't approach the baracades just yet. Load the Vaporizer first, and zoom-in the target ring just over top of the baracades. You'll be able to just see the top of a hover tank, moving back and forth. Fire one shot as it comes into range. The tank will explode into a million pieces. Whack all the nearby dome lights and proceed with caution. Your Synthenoids will start shooting at something you can't even see.
Run to the baracades on the right and duck for cover. More troopers are right there in front of you. Lots of options but every one involves taking SOME damage? Load the Minirocket. Jump over the the baracades and open fire. Shoot the 2 troopers right away and then wait for 2 more that materialize in the small rooms. Take care of them as well. Your Synthenoids will soften them up, and one shot each will do it. Whack all the crates and lights. Reload your Synthenoids as needed.
Load the swingshot. Use the overhead versa-target and swing over to the far pier. Quickly load the Minirocket. To the right, your Synthenoids will start firing at a number of troopers hidden behind all the baracades. As the Minirocket finds them, the target ring will light them up. Fire 1 shot at each trooper in the hallway. Whack the crates and Nanotech health cubes. Jump to the top of the middle baracade blocks, to get a better view of what's up ahead. UHOH!! The Minirocket sees multiple targets, from left to right.
DO NOT VENTURE INTO THE WHARF AREA! It's suicide! There are 10 troopers waiting to gun you down, and they are hiding to the left, right, and up top in the tower. From the hallway, fire your Minirocket missles, one at a time. Pan the target ring, lock-on to a trooper and fire. They will return plasma fire. Dodge the plasma bullet trails when you can. Use at least 10-12 missles. Your target ring may get confused with crates but that's ok, you have 20 missles to play with right now.
Walk cautiously onto the wharf and reload more Synthenoids just in case. They will see and fire on a stray trooper before you can react. Whack all the ammo crates and lights for lots of bolts. Climb the tower ladder, load the Swingshot and swing over to the next balcony platform. To the right is an open hangar. Load the Minirocket. 3 troopers come running out from the right room. Take care of business. Your Synthenoids will be kept busy. They will also fire down below.
Down in the cargo hold are lots of chickenbots. Jump down and whack away. There's also a Nantoech health cube against the far wall. Climb the wall ladder back up to the hangar. Walk along the narrow walkway and whack all the crates out of the way. Up ahead is another hover tank waiting for you. If you approach the hanger opening, it will open fire. The spinning magneto plasma bursts it fires, are very lethal. From a distance load the vaporizer and take him down.
Clean-up inside the hangar, and load the Minirocket. Approach the hangar opening. To the left, there are 2 troopers on an upper platform. When they see Ratchet, they will hover down to the lower platform, by the vault door, and start firing. 2 missles, one at each one, will do the job. Heli-glide down to the platform and clean-up. Whack away at all the lights. The vault door won't open just yet, but we will be back, later.
Around the corner and to the left, are more troopers bunkered down. There are 3 up in the tower, 2 down below and 2 more ready to come out from a small room on the left. With the Minirocket hopefully still loaded, walk up to the step, lock-in the target ring and fire one missle at a time, as the target ring re-locks. Walk up to the pier, and fire 2 more missles down to the end. When all is clear, clean-up the bolts, ammo crates, and Nanotech health cube at the end.
Climb the wall ladder on the tower to the right, and turn around up top. At the end of the next elevated platform are 2 more troopers. From the tower, fire 2 missles down the length of the platform. The missles will hit. Load the swingshot and traverse to the next small platform. There MAY be 2 more troopers, running out from the left room. Load the Minirocket and take care of them. Heli-glide to the next platform and walk all the way to the end, whacking lights as you go.
Load the Dynamo. Zap the first gyro and quickly jump to the holographic hover pad. Zap the next gyro and jump to that hover pad and repeat again. Quickly jump to the far elevated pier. Don't waste any time. These gyro balls are on a short timer. Should you fall off, or delay and fall through to the water, the fish will come and get you, and you'll have to start right back at the beginning. Once on the last pier, go to the left and clean out the small room.
Walk down to the other end of the pier and load the Swingshot.Traverse across the 3 versa-targets and land on the small pier and then walk to the small little island. Mission completed. Movie sequence begins. The MegaCorp Games promoter taunts Ratchet into trying out his luck and going into the elimination qualifier battles for Planet Joba. Clank wanders over to the energy vent and converts to his UltraMech form. Go to Lunar City.
After Ratchet has bought the Spiderbot Glove and has some experience with it, come back to Dobbo. Work your way back down the network of piers and platforms, all the way back to the vault door area. First clean-out the troopers around the pier, along the right side of the building. Load the Spiderbot Glove near the small room on the left. There's a small air vent at the bottom on the back wall. You can barely see it. Toss a spiderbot and remotely walk the spider up inside that vent.
Move the spider halfway up the vent, then turn left and down the next vent. The spiderbot is now inside the vault. There is a familiar glow! Walk the spider over the floor sensor. This will open the vault doors. Detonate the spiderbot, and then walk back around the pier and inside the vault. Grab the platinum bolt. Continue on to the island, and take the hover taxi back to your star ship.
