To ride the power line grind rails, Ratchet has to disengage the forcefield at the front entrance to the city. From the top of the stairs, go straight to the hoverpad elevator. Take the elevator to the top, then climb the wall ladder.

Planet Boldan 5 Each section of power line has 3 grindrails. You can hear and see electricity arcing through the lines once in awhile. Touching the grindrail with the arcing electricity, will injure Ratchet. The secret is watching the conductor(s) at the next power pole. ONLY the rails directly underneath a concuctor coil, will arc electricity. A grindrail not connected to a coil will never arc and is therefore safe to grind on. It is also the rail to use to jump over the power pole to the next rail section.

Planet Boldan 6 Grind and jump through the the first 3 sections of power lines. Jump to the building and grind the 2 sections of balcony railing. Jump back down to the power lines over 2 sections, then jump to the steel girders on the construction site. Ratchet has to jump from steel girder to girder inside the construction site, even though they may apear to be connected (deceiving). Jump back to the power lines and grind into the cave inside the mountain.

INSOMNIAC MUSEUM: Half-way through the grind, you'll see the streets of Silver City on the left. At the nearest power pole to the streets, INTENTIONALLY BUMP INTO THE POWER INSULATOR at the top of the pole. This will disengage Ratchet from the grind rail and you can heli-glide over to the streets. Walk to the right to the garage in the middle of nowhere. Go to the left of the garage, drop down and go inside.

Planet Boldan 7 Inside the cave, hop and bounce over the cable as you grind, to avoid being injured by the cable gears. Grind to the next construction site and hop left and right to the connecting girders. Ride the last set of power lines then jump off at the end, next to the building. If you have successfully navigated the entire power line course without and injury, you will earn the No shocking developments skill point.

Just outside the building, is a triangular vendor pole. Use it to hail Slim Cognito and his remote ship and get some after-market mods for your weapons.

After you're done, go inside the building, whack all the crates, shoot-out all the wall lights (for more bolts) and then take the teleport pad back to the shuttle pad returning to the front entrance of the city.
