After finishing with the space station, Ratchet has to find the desert riders on this planet, to find out more information about the thief and where the neo-pet has gone. First thing is to activate the MegaCorp kiosk and load-up on ammo. I spent the 20,000 bolts at this point and bought the pulse rifle. I have this thing about buying weapons as soon as I could. The only way out seems to be through the tunnel. The other way requires a swingshot, which we don't have.

Load the heavy lancer. The tunnel is full of little puppy mutants with big ears. Take em all down, one at a time. At the other end of the tunnel, there's an open courtyard. Lots of puppies running around. There are 3 tribesmen standing guard. Load the mini-nuke and toss a grenade right between them. As they vaproize, more tribesmen come out from behind the ruins and start to run towards Ratchet. These guys have no weapons other than a sword and shield.
Walk-out into the courtyard and whack all the nearby crates. As more tribesmen come out, load the seeker gun. Fire a seeker drone for each tribesemen. The great thing about this gun is that you only have to be close with your aim and this is a long range weapon. The larger saur-beast (the mutant buffalo) needs 3 seeker missles to bring down. Be careful, because once he's hit, he'll come charging after you. Looking up, note that the flood lights and satellite dishes are breakable. Zoom auto-aim with the lancer for lots of bolts.
Clean-out the area then go inside the first building. Watch-out for more puppies and a few tribesmen hanging around. Load the mini-nuke and toss one grenade in the center of the room. All the glass around the pipe columns will shatter and probably some of the crates lining the walls. Whack all the crates, then move out to the next small courtyard. More tribesmen and puppies are outside. Load the blitz gun and fire away at close range. Never hurts to get new weapon experience.

Walk up the ramp to the bridge crossing the canyon. A handful of mutant puppies will try to ambush you. At this point use your wrench, because trying to aim a weapon on a incline takes a little practice, and you won't really have enough time to react. Load the mini-nuke and start to walk across the bridge. You know something is coming. It's way too quiet! Sure enough, a group of 8-10 tribesmen start to run across the bridge. 2 grenades in the middle of the pack does the trick.
At the end of the bridge are more crates and a Nanotech health sphere. Up ahead are more tribesmen patrolling and 2 saur-beasts. Load the seeker gun, fire 7-8 seeker drones and watch the chaos and destruction. Before crossing the next narrow bridge, load the pulse rifle. This is a long-range high power rifle. Zoom in on the saur-beast with the target ring until it flashes red. Fire just 1 shot!! The tough saur-beast goes down like jello. Too bad we can only carry 8 shells at a time?
Go into the round building, break all the glass and clean-out the crates. Out the other side, is a balcony. Load the mini-nuke and look over the balcony down below. There are a number of tribesemen huddled around a fire and one saur-beast roaming around, with a rider. Standing right on the edge, move the target ring to right over the fire. Toss one grenade. Hopefully, you've taken out at least half. Drop down on the left and take care of the rest of them with your wrench.
Go in and clean-out the next round building. Through the exit, is a very large open field area. There are lots of tribesmen, puppies and saur-beasts out here. Load the heavy lancer and pick-off as many as you can, or use the blitz gun and ambush all of them. There are several lamps and 2 satellite dishes to break apart, as well. In the next courtyard, it looks to be something real bad. Ratchet crosses a fence line and all of a sudden, the fence shoots up and locks behind us.
Load the blitz gun and pray! 15-20 tribesmen come out from behind the walls and from the other side of the bridge. They swarm Ratchet. All you can do is fire away into the crowd. Try to sweep your gun-fire from left to right and don't let any tribesmen get behind you. You'll probably take some damage but nothing serious. Once the coast is clear, walk across the bridge that is now connected. Enter the next room. This is an old derelict Gadgetron Sales Office?

Go up to the woman and activate the vendor. Of interest here, is the variety of weapons. If you played the original Ratchet & Clank on your PS2 console, and the current game sees a previous memory block, you can buy some of your old favorite weapons from the original game, for free!! I chose to take the tesla claw & visibomb gun and added them to my current collection. The ammo still costs money but these weapons were especially useful in the first game.
Go out the far doorway to another open area. To the right is a small canyon that we can't cross just yet. We'll need Clank and his heli-pack to get there. On the other side, is one of the desert riders and his hover-bike. To the left is another tunnel and a horde of 15-20 mutant puppies. Load the tesla claw and zap away. Down the tunnel is a hover pad, which will take us back to the space ship shuttle pad. Mission completed.
