Going Commando

Planet Aranos

Planet Aranos 6 After the thief escapes with the neo-pet, Ratchet has to find a way out. Slide down the escape tunnel. Now we're outside on the wing of the spaceship. This is cool! You may not have time to notice, but the clouds are zipping by, and the aerilon on the wing is moving up and down. Load the gravity bomb. If you position the bomb target correctly, you can take out all 4 security robot spiders in one blast. If not, load the lancer and take care of whatever is left. Go inside the spacelab through the open observation window.

Planet Aranos 7 Knock out all the overhead lights before you go any further. Load up on ammo by whacking the MegaCorp crates. Once the cargo doors open, be ready for an ambush. Load the gravity bomb again and fire 1 or 2 grenades at the pack of secruity robots. Clean-up the mess and go into the cargo bay. Walk over the floor sensor and take the elevator up to the next level. Up top, load the lancer, then open the doors. Fire away at the security robots in the hall. Go into the large room.

Planet Aranos 8 You know this is going to be an ambush! It's way too quiet, and nobody's around? Walk into the room. Make sure your lancer is loaded and fire away at free will. Watch out for the 5-6 drone spheres hovering around. If need be, grab the Nanotech health sphere on the right side of the room. The overhead spinning satellite thingey contraption looks interesting, but there's nothing up there. Go out the door at the end and walk up the steps. Load the gravity bomb.

Planet Aranos 9 As Ratchet walks on the last step, all heck breaks loose up top and several robot spiders come busting out of the storage closets. Toss a couple of bombs and watch the blast waves take care of business. Clean up the mess after it's all over and don't forget to shoot-out all the overhead spotlights. Lots and lots of bolts. When all is done, walk out the doorway on the left. All missions completed. Movie sequence begins. Next stop, Planet Oozla.
