A Crack In Time

Great Clock Sector 5

Return Visit: Sector 1 Control Rooms

Great Clock 1 After defeating Azimuth and winning the game, you have the chance NOT to continue on to Challenge Mode. Go back to the Corvus Space Sector. Once in space, [select] your Galactic Map and return to the Great Clock. As you can see, I have 6 Gold Bolts to get. Warp across to the Great Clock. You're still playing Ratchet. Go to the teleport pad on the left.

Great Clock 2 Use triangle to activate the teleport. You'll have 5 choices of all the clock sectors. Beside each sector will be the gold bolt tally for each section. You can teleport to each sector as many times as you like and go through the sections again and again til you have collected everything. As you can see, no point going back to Sector 5 (which is the arena battle with Azimuth again).

Great Clock 3 When you teleport to any sector, you will replay the sector as Clank. The first time through Sector 1 you probably didn't know there is a skill point available. Make your way through sector 1 and don't stop for anything. You can whack a few broken lights and conduits along the way BUT DON'T WASTE ANY TIME! Run through each section and past the Planetarium for Jasindu. We'll come back again.

Great Clock 4 Make your way quickly past the last control room, heli-gliding across the platforms to the teleport pad. If you make it in time [less than 300 seconds], you'll get Skill Point: Outta Time. Don't go through the teleport pad. Retrace your steps back to the Planetarium. You'll see off in the distance, on a far away platform, a gold bolt which you cannot get to. Go to the pedestal in front of the planet. Play the time repair mini-game.

Great Clock 5 The goal of the mini-game is to reduce the time anomilies down to 0. It may take a few waves to get there, down from a starting grid of 20, but you'll get there. When you finish the game and get the shower of bolts, you'll see 2 new pads appear as steps to the gold bolt [X]. Heli-glide across the pads and grab Gold Bolt 35/40. Make your way back to the teleport pad.

Return Visit: Sector 2 Paradox Stations

Great Clock 6 When you teleport to Sector 2, you'll be back outisde. Whack all the crates along the way. Look to the schematic layout of the area [select] and find the location of one of the missing gold bolts. It's not too far away. Heli-glide across the gardens over to the first terrace. Walk to the right. Look along the right side of the building to the end. You'll see the gold bolt. Go up and grab Gold Bolt 36/40. Heli-glide up the steps.

Great Clock 7 Go inside the first paradox room. Step on the first time pad (either one). Select the [menu] of options. You can chose to bypass the puzzle. This will save you some time and unwanted frustration, being that you did it once already. Bypass the puzzle and continue on through the sector. You can chose to go into the first mini-game in Mnemonic Chamber Beta for another Gold Bolt 37/40. VERY TOUGH!

Great Clock 8 Make your way through all the paradox rooms and bypass all the time puzzles. On the way out through the exits, make sure not to injure any Teretrope snails. After one of the rooms, if you get away cleanly, you'll receive Skill Point: Temporal Pacifism [save the snails in Sector 2]. Make yoru way through the sector and repair all the broken objects along the way.
