Ratchet's next mission is to explore the undergound water sewer system. At the far end of the dock by the shuttle pad, there's a teleport pad that will take you there.

After you materialize down below, walk to the first pool. On the bottom of the pool, there's an invinco-lock door that needs to be opened but is not accessible when under water. There is no drain tap around? To the right is an underwater tunnel leading to another chamber. Jump in and swim through the tunnel. It's nice to have an unlimited air supply with the new O2 mask. As you surface on the other side, you can see the drain tap on the far platform. Unfortunately there is also a mutant ameboid walking around.

Dealing with an ameboid in close quarters is trickey. Jump out on the left side of the platform, with the ameboid as far away from you as possible. Quickly load the pyrocitor and start flaming. Hopefully you won't take any damage, but if you do, there is a Nanotech health sphere nearby with some other crates. Remember that the ameboid splits into 2 first, then into 4 smaller ameboids. Load the hydrodisplacer, plug into the drain tap and empty the water from the pool.

Jump to the bottom of the pool, and walk back through the tunnel to the first chamber. The invinco-lock socket on the wall is now dry and available to be disarmed. Load the trespasser and align the lasers until the switches turn green. These locks seem to be getting tougher as you go further into the game? Once the sliding doors open, walk down the new tunnel and clean-up all the bolts. You cannot climb out at the other end so return to the room with the water drain tap.

Load the hydrodisplacer and refill the pool with water. Swim back through the tunnel, and now swim through the tunnel on the right, all the way to the next area where you can surface. This does not look good! On the next platform, there are several ameboids wandering around. Along the perimeter, there are a series of step ledges. Climb out of the water and immediately jump to the first ledge on the left. From here, Rachet can safely plan his attack to get rid of the mutants.

Load the bomb glove. Take a look over the ledge at the platform below and watch the target ring. Toss a bomb when you lock-on over an ameboid. I would throw as many bombs as you can, that can target a mutant (10-20). There will come a point when the bomb glove is out of range. Now load the glove of doom. Throw 1 cansiter at a time and see what happens. Keep throwing canisters one at a time, until all ameboids are gone. My guess you'll use up 5-6 canisters.

Once the coast is clear, jump down, whack all the crates and sweep-up all the bolts (including the hidden ones). Climb and jump the ledges all the way around to the top doorway (which is invinco-locked). The ledges marked in orange lines are teeter-totter ledges and will sway back and forth. Bounce over them as quickly as possible. Once you have made the top platform, load the trespasser and plug into the wall socket to the right of the door. Align the lasers until everything turns green and unlock the door.

On the other side of the door is another water pool. There is no drain tap nearby. Dive into the water and swim through the long set of tunnels. Along the way, bump into all the red detonator crates and swim away before they explode. Collect all the loose bolts. This swim will take awhile, but we have unlimited O2, so it doesn't matter. Enjoy the scenery and take your time.

At the end of the tunnels, Rachet surfaces in another chamber. The far platform looks small and it's clogged with 5 ameboids. Get out of the water and quickly jump to the higher platform. You'll take health damage, but one bite is better than certain death, if you try to fight from the lower platform. Load the bomb glove and fire 10-20 targeted bombs. If you run-out of ammo, load the glove of doom and toss as many canisters as you need. If you run-out of ammo again, use the pyrocitor, and flame the rest.

Almost done! On the upper platform, load the trespasser again, plug into the wall socket, disable the invinco-lock and open the door. Clean-out the crates and approach the inventor [action sequence begins]. He wants Raritanium to exchange for his persuador. Unfortunately, there is no such material on this planet. Take the teleporter back to the shuttle pad. All missions are complete for now. Check your status [select] and map. It's time to go to Planet Hoven.
