Welcome to paradise! It's nice to be on a sunny planet once again. Unfortunately, this planet is under attack by the Blarg as well. The flying tanker ships are dumping toxic sludge into the water, creating some nasty mutant sea creatures.
Our first mission is to escort the resort owner around the villages and beaches, to clean-out the unwanted guests. Off to the left of the shuttle pad, down by the dock area, walk up to the owner [Action sequence begins]. He explains the whole situation to Rachet. As you walk through this first stage of the level, the resort owner will be walking right behind you at all times. The area directly ahead of you, has to be clear of all mutants, before the resort owner walks with you.
Before venturing off with the resort owner, load the Visibomb. Aim into the sky and fire a missle. Steer it into one of the small fighter jets flying around. THIS WON'T BE EASY. Destroy 3 fighter jets and you'll be awarded a skill point.
Load the blaster. There are nasty orange spike fish bouncing around the beach. Each one takes 2-3 blasts to destroy. They're alot tougher than what Rachet has been used to. Be carfeul and keep your distance. These mutant fish are agressive and like biting people. Rachet will also meet 2 or 3 mutant jellyfish. 4-5 good blasts or 1 well-aimed disruptor missle will take care of them. Clean-out the first beach area, and take the hover boat over to the island with the waterfalls.
Any time you ride on a hover boat with the resort owner, be on the look-out. Mutant spike fish will jump out of the water and land on the deck of the boat. Load the walloper before you go on any boat. I found it was the only defensive weapon that worked well in tight spots, with enemies attacking at close range. The pyrocitor or blaster were awkward to aim on the boat and I found myself getting bitten by the fish, trying to turn around with a big weapon. One good punch with the waloper took care of each fish.
Once the hover boat stops, climb out by the upper dock and load the blaster. Take out the mutant fish and the jellyfish. Walk to the lagoon by the waterfall. Load the bomb glove and toss a bomb on each fish swimming in the lagoon. You'll probably go through 10-15 bombs. If you need to get closer, wade into the water but stay at a far distance and toss your bombs. Once the area is clear, the resort guy will follow you through the lagoon to the far walkway. Blast the crates on the pedestal island, then heli-glide over.
Down the next hill, there are more mutant spike fish. Load the bomb glove again and toss one at each fish. There are also hidden underground bolts here. Take a break from the fighting and load the metal detector and sweep the area. Destroy the fish down on the next beach by the waterfall, all the way to the end. There is a hover boat waiting. Break all the crates and use the probably much needed Nanotech health spheres. There are more hidden bolts by the hover boat.
NOTE: Even though you can see the Blarg tanker ships flying by and they seem close enough to shoot, don't bother. Nothing you have, including cruise missles or blaster missles, will have any damaging effect on them.
The next hover boat ride is a very long one. Like before, load the walloper before you jump on the boat . Be on the look-out for lots of mutant spike fish. At one point during the ride, you will be swarmed by 2-3 fish at a time. Stay cool and wallop one at a time. Once the resort owner finally stops (seems like forever), wait for the hover boat to float up to the next upper dock landing. Walk to the end, over the floor sensor pad, and wait for the connecting bridge to unfold.
Walk across the zig-zag bridge and load the blaster or pyrocitor. Blast the 3-4 mutant fish hopping around on the sidewalk. Remember to stay at a safe distance. Be careful as you walk up the next set of steps. There are swarms of mutant fish on the upper courtyard. From the very top step, load the glove of doom and toss 4-5 canisters, 1 at a time about 10 seconds apart. Let each group of nano-robots do their thing before throwing the next canister. Watch them go to town until the entire area is cleaned out.
Break all the crates in the upper courtyard and make sure the resort owner is tagging along. Load the metal detector and suck-up all the hidden bolts. At the end of this section, there is another floor sensor pad. This sensor pad activates a connecting bowtie bridge. Walk across and toss 2-3 more doom canisters down the sidewalk. If there are any stray mutants left-over, load the blaster or pyrocitor (whatever you have ammo for) and do your thing.
This is the last section of the village to clean-out for the resort owner. At the end of the sidewalk, there is a small wading pool full of mutant fish. Do what you want to take care of them. I like the bomb glove. Once the coast is clear, the owner will walk over to the garage at the end and gives Rachet the O2 mask for use at the resort. This O2 mask will allow unlimited air supply underwater so you can swim around for as long as you want. Mission complete.
EXTRA STRATEGY: Now that Rachet has the O2 mask, we can go back to the Kogor Refinery on Planet Orxon and explore the other areas that Clank couldn't get to. We can also go back to Blackwater City on Planet Rilgar, to the now-flooded underground waterworks area and get a hidden gold bolt.
