The 2nd mission on Planet Novalis is to find the plumber and buy the Infobot. From the level entrance go through the archway into the waterworks tunnel with the fast-moving stream. Jump and climb the cave stairs to the hydraulic pistons. If Rachet happens to fall into the water here, the current will carry you back to the start.

As Rachet climbs up the stairs, an overhead plane bombs from above, loosening boulders that come crashing down into the waterworks. They have created new stepping platforms. Go to the top platform. Watch the up and down cycle of the hydraulic pistons. As the first piston reaches the bottom, jump to the piston pad. ride the piston to the top, then quickly jump to the second piston pad. Now jump to the far balcony on the right, before the piston starts its down cycle.

Before walking down the hallway, activate the bomb glove and throw a bomb at the 2 robot bees in the room up ahead. Position the moving target ring from the bomb glove so it just enters the room below the robot bees, then throw the bomb. Using the wrench, take out all the crates and supplies in the room. Before climbing up the stairs on the left, we have a secret to get.

In the storage room, just inside the area by the bottom of the stairs, bounce from left to right off the walls [X button]. Bounce your way up both walls, til you reach an upper catwalk. Off in the distance to your right, is a glowing gold bolt. These are very valuable and can be used to buy special equipment. Collect all the bolts and then jump down to the room area down below. Rachet will not take any damage from this high a jump.

Climb the stairs and enter the next large chamber. The doors will automatically open as you approach. Take out the guard on the right with a well-placed bomb. The floor fan cannot be taken out and is just a nuisance. Jump the gap in the floor and toss a bomb at the second guard. Break all the crates and use the Nanotech health ball if you have any injuries to your health. Jump on the piston pad and go through the tunnel through the door to the next larger chamber.

As you enter the second room, take out all the guards, break all the chests and collect all the bolts. Break the steam vent at the end. It slows down the current in water down below should you fall in the sewer. Work your way over to the far side and watch the 2 hydraulic pistons cycle up and down. Jump to the 1st piston pad, ride it up, jump to the 2nd piston pad, then jump to the overhead catwalk. Break all the crates then carefully walk along the narrow catwalk all the way around to the end doorway.

Go through 2 sets of doors and approach the plumber in the next room by the glass wall. He will offer to sell you the Infobot for 500 bolts. You have more than enough and you need the Infobot to navigate to your next destination, Planet Aridia. The plumber takes off. Clean up all the bolts and supplies and then jump into the sewer where the mechanice went. Rachet will collect all the bolts as he slides down the sewer back to the original archway entrance.

Rachet should now have over 2,600 bolts in his bank [upper right hand corner of screen]. In the open area by the shuttle pad, activate Gadgetron and buy the pyrociter and fill up with ammo. Here is a cool new flame thrower..
