Rachet's last... unofficial mission... is to discover the gold weapon armory. This is very important because it will allow Rachet to acquire super-power weapons.

Off to the right of the runway, is a very tall control tower. Climb the steps. There doesn't seem to be any access to get up the tower. Load the minesweeper first and suck-up all the hidden bolts first. From the edge of the entrance by the steps, bounce off the hallway walls, up to a hidden elevator pad. Walk over the floor sensor and ride the elevator all the way up to the control room. Take a look around. We are now in the gold weapon showroom. Walk-up to any display.

We knew all along, that these gold bolts would come in handy for something? Right? Hopefully, you have at least 10 in your possession right now. If not, you can always come back here later. Each gold weapon is at least 10,000 bolts + 4 gold bolts. The Gold Blaster has a longer target range and the bullets now ricochet for extra kill power. The Gold Glove of Doom has meaner, bigger, nano-robots that can take-on any mutant. The Gold Walloper has extra fist-power.

The Gold Pyrocitor has a longer reach with its flame and there is a wave-flame feature (like the robot soldiers). I chose only the blaster at this time. Ammo for these weapons costs the same as a regular weapon, and the capacity is the same as usual. Before leaving, take a long look over the ledge through the glass window. The scenery graphics are amazing. They thought of everything to make it look so realistic. Enjoy the view!
