Planet Gaspar is the home base for all those flying Blarg warships that attacked Fort Krontos. Off to the right of the shuttle pad there are a series of docking bays out on the remote islands that surround the depot. Our job, destroy all the warships.

The large lake surrounding the entire base is deadly lava. Try not to fall in! Heli-jump over to the first series of platform steps down below. Whack all the domed lights for extra bolts. Break all the nearby crates on the beach and load the swingshot. Jump to the floating dock in the lava lake (it starts to sink). Quickly tarzan swing using the 2 overhead double vesra-targets, then heli-glide to the circular vent shaft. From there, jump over to the cargo platform on the far island.

Jump to the top of the large cargo drums first. Bump into the red detonator crate and stand back. All the crates will explode include the blue ones. Collect the bolts. Jump back down to the platform and load the disruptor. Off to the right is a docked warship hanging from a boom crane. Each warship is attached to a power generator. Zoom auto-aim the missle target ring on the power generator. When the target is locked, the ring will turn yellow. Fire away! The generator explodes and the ship breaks apart, falling into the lava.

On the other side of the island, there is another warship attached to a boom crane, lower to the ground. Don't go down to the beach area yet. There are several robot guard dogs running around. From the safety of the platform, zoom auto-aim the target ring on the next power generator and fire one missle. This warship also breaks up and falls into the lava. Very cool effects!! The robot guard dogs are easy to get past. Whack them with the wrench, or use the pyrocitor or a glove bomb. Lots of choices.

Walk to the end of the beach, jump to the vent shaft and load the swingshot. Tarzan swing through the double vesra-targets, then heli-glide to another circular vent shaft. From here you can heli-jump to the next cargo storage platform. There are several robot guard dogs running around. Take care of business, whack all the domed lights, break all the crates, walk to the far dock ramp and heli-jump to the vent shaft. There are no warships docked to this platform.

Load the swingshot and tarzan swing through the double versa-targets all the way over to the far island. Take care of the guard dogs and clean-out the island platform all the way around. Climb the ledge steps around to the back. Watch out for the guard dogs on the ledge. Down below, almost hidden, there is a power generator. Load the bomb glove. (I couldn't get a target lock on the generator using the disruptor). Aim the glove bomb target ring on the generator. The generator explodes, then the warship.

The next warship is dead ahead at the end of the path. With the bomb glove still loaded, aim the target ring and toss one at the next generator and destroy the warship. Heli-glide from the balcony platform over to the ledge on the next island. Walk around to the left, load the pyrocitor and watch out for the ambush of 10 robot guard dogs. Clean-out the platform and jump on top of a cargo barrel. You can see the last 6 warships. 2 on the next island, then 4 on the last platform.

Jump on the elevator hover pad down to the next island. Go around to the right side of the island,load the bomb
glove and take out the power generator and the warship. Come back around to the other side and destroy other
power generator and the attached warship. This will clear the path to the last set of overhead versa-targets. Load the swingshot and tarzan swing across. Heli-glide to the floating docks in the lava lake and jump across each one to the far platform.

EXTRA STUFF: Before you destroy these last Blarg warships go have a close look at the graphic detail on the warships themselves. It is amazing. The engines all have rotating rocket turbines and you can see the machine gun turrets and cockpit.

The last platform is no contest. There are no guard dogs and no-one to worry about. Load the bomb glove, aim the target ring and toss away. Take out all 4 generators in the corners and watch the warships close-up as they all break-up into the lake. Rachet has earned a skill point! Last but not least, go across to the far circular dock and grab the gold bolt. Don't forget to whack all the domed lights for extra bolts.
