Ratchet & Clank

Explore Burning Fort

Once Ratchet has walked the vent shafts with his Magneboots, we find ourselves just outside the fort wall looking through a blast hole. Our next mission is to secure the fort and then connect the fort draw bridge to the mainland.

Planet Batalia 23 inside the fort are several robot commandos, with missle launchers. Load the disruptor and using the zoom auto-aim target ring, fire one missle and takedown the one you see through the hole. This will buy you some breathing room to go into the fort. Once inside, load the pyrocitor or blaster and destroy all the hover robots and the robot hive generator in the corner. Clean-up all the bolts and then walk up the ramp to the upper walkway around the perimeter of the fort.

Planet Batalia 24 Up top, find the floor plate screw. Using Rachet's wrench, turn the floor screw, pull-out and lock the draw bridge to the mainland. This will give you an escape route once you have finished the missions in and around the fort. From here, go down either side of the fort wall and whack all the crates for more goodies. It's also not a bad idea, to pick-off any left-over enemy robots from up here. Once you're done, go down to the main area and over to the far platform.

Planet Batalia 25 Load the disruptor. Zoom auto-aim the target ring on one of the 2 armored tanks that suddenly appear out of nowhere, and fire 4-5 missles at each one. Once they are destroyed, take out the remaining hover-bots with your wrench or try the new walloper that you bought for 7,500 bolts at the Gadgetron kiosk. Another option is the glove of doom and your gadgebots. They can take down the tanks as well as the hover-bots. Clean-out the area and search the upper ledges.

Planet Batalia 26 In the center of the fort by the back wall, there's another floor plate screw. Using Ratchet's wrench, turn the floor screw and open the door leading to a bridge. This connects you to the air defense turret cannon on the island. Ratchet's mission here is complete. You have successfully taken back the fort from the Blarg, and connected the bridge back to the mainland.
