After Clank finds the Magneboots on Planet Orxon, Rachet returns to Fort Krontos. On this mission, we have to do some amazing stunt work that defies gravity.

From the launch pad area, go straight to the cargo hover taxi on the left and fly over to the main connecting bridge over by the Fort. Jump onto the ventilation shaft. Rachet quickly feels the sticking power of the new boots. As he walks, the boots hold him in place. Walking forward is scarey. As you follow the incline of the twisting vents, the view and horizon change. Rachet can walk vertically, sideways and upside down, as long as the Magneboots grip the surface.

While walking on any metal surface with the Magneboots, weapons can't be loaded or used. All you have at your defense is Rachet's trusty wrench. Watch for flying enemies approaching at strange angles. Swipe away at them or use the slingshot boomerang move [R1+square] with the wrench. Go slowly and watch where you are going. If you slip off the metal surface or try to jump, you will fall, and in most cases, die. If you look closely, the rain is falling sideways?

All in all, this is one of the coolest gameplay features. Walking at weird angles is not normal and it takes alot to get used to the orientation or lack of knowing where you are in relation to the ground. It can almost make you dizzy like a bad roller coaster. All metal catwalks or vent shafts, will end with Rachet standing right side up, so just follow the path. In this case, follow the ventilation shaft around to the side of the fort. Rachet will end up near a gaping hole in the fort wall.

Ratchet has finished his first Magneboot walk. This completes a new mission that was previously uncharted for this planet. Time to go inside the fort.
