Once Ratchet & Clank have explored the area in the city, their next mission is to find the lone commando trying to defend the planet? Sounds like a tough job.

At the end of the last mission, Rachet turned both the floor screws in the valley connecting and locking the 2 sections of the bridge together. Climb the steps along the back cliff wall and cross over the now-completed bridge. As Ratchet walks over the crest of the bridge, he can see the commando standing on a platform.

Beyond the platform, in the distance, is Fort Krontos. It has been under attack and is burning. Approach the commando. [Action sequence begins]. The soldier explains the hopeless situation and the fact that someone has to get inside the fort city to activate the bridge. Rachet can see the open floor screw on the top of the fort wall across the gorge. Only one problem!! Rachet needs Magneboots to walk the ventilation shafts to get into the fort city.

Unfortunately, we don't have access to Magneboots right now, and the Gadgetron Help Desk reminds Ratchet there are no such items on this planet. OK... So we will leave the last 2 missions til later on in the game. Take the hover boat back to the shuttle pad area. Once we return with the magentic boots, we can take the hover taxi back to the bridge bypassing all the grassy areas.
