Ah yes, one of those touching moments we've been waiting for... especially Daxter, re-uniting with his girlfriend Tess. You may remember Tess from the 2nd Jak game. She was the bartender/waitress at the Naughty Ottsel. She now has a new job!! |

Tess is our "valley girl" Brittney Spears blonde. She and Daxter have been an item for awhile and immediately hug each other when they re-unite. Tess has missed Daxter sooooo much. She's now a weapons developer/tester for Torn & Ashelin. (Gotta love hot chicks with guns!) She shows Jak & Daxter her latest invention. It's a heat-seeking, armor-piercing, eco-sucking, high cycle rate of fire machine gun, or the famed Gyro Burster. Tess says it a hobby? OK... Bring it on ! |

Use the Beam Reflexor for the gun course. Best kill rate, best use of ammo and the bullet ricochets will help clean-up all the left-overs. The object is to shoot-down all the enemy targets as they pop-up from the floor or out from the walls. DON'T SHOOT THE CIVILIAN TARGETS! Each civilian target you kill by accident, will deduct 100 points. To win the gun course challenge, Jak has to accumulate at least 10,000 points The score meter is at the top of the screen. |

Don't worry about ammo. There are canisters to reload around every corner. The trick to high scores is to peg everything and to take down the targets quickly. The second time through the course will be better, because you will know where the targets will be springing up from and can shoot ahead of time. Keep focused on the red enemy targets only. Hold up on the gun when you see a civilian target jump out. They may shatter from residual ricochet fire but most will stay intact. |

HIGH SCORE CHALLENGE: If you're really good, try the challenge for maximum points... 12,000 points gets a bronze trophy, 14,000 points gets a silver trophy AND 16,000 points awards a gold trophy + 5 Orbs + a special secret unlocked! |

After Jak successfully completes the gun course, they join up with Tess again. [Movie sequence begins] Tess says not bad shooting... for a guy... and hands Jak the Gyro Burster Gun (the 3rd and final mod upgrade for the Blaster). She warns Jak to protect her little Snookums or in a word.... I'LL HUNT YOU DOWN AND HURT YOU REAL BAD!! ok??? hee hee... Daxter loves it!! Alright.. enough flirting for now. Head back to the Naughty Ottsel for the next assignment. |
