After finding Seem in the ruins of the Monk Temple and receiving a critical sacred Precursor artfiact, Jak & Daxter teleport back to the mountain. They find the Dune Hopper and drive back across the desert to the garage near Spargus. |

Walking into the city, you know something is wrong. The civilians are running for cover or engaging in firefights that are breaking-out everywhere. Dark Makers have landed in the city. This is not good. Grab a nearby Leaper Lizard and ride across the city all the way to the sea. Jump off the Leaper by the market area and engage in a few battles before you reach the turret. Load the PeaceMaker and take down a few Dark Makers. At least you're helping out ? |

Walk out to the rock island, climb the ladder and hop into the turret up top. Dark Maker Assault Bots fall from the sky and plunge into the water. As they surface Samos breaks-in and yells to Jak to fire on their weakspots to destroy them. As the Dark Maker Assault Bots rise up from the water and get closer to land, red target rings will appear on the bodies and legs of the Bots. There are 6-7 targets to hit on each Bot. Fire away [R1]. They're not going down without a fight.

The Assault Bots launch a steady stream of grenades at the turret. While you're firing away at the legs and shoulders of the Bots, you'll have to stop for a second and shoot the grenades in the sky. YOU CAN'T IGNORE THE GRENADES! If the turret island takes 9-10 direct hits, the turret will explode and Jak will have to start over. This is one of the toughest challenges of the game!. Your fingers will get soar and you'll be frustrated at how persistent the Assault Bots are. Keep at it!

The 2nd wave of Assault Bots will come from the right, near the shoreline. 3 of them will come at once. Be patient and look for the red target rings to light-up. Take them down as soon as you can. There is absolutely no way you can avoid being hit by grenades. Minimize the damage as best you can until all 3 are destroyed. The 3rd wave of Assault Bots will be over the city. The turret will swivel around to the city streets. Destroy the 3 Assault Bots as they approach.

[Movie sequence begins] Damas and Kleiver are at the base of the turret and congratulate Jak on a job well done. Damas is proud of their success and gives Jak the last piece of his war amulet He now has a communicator should he ever need help from the Wastelanders. Damas gives Jak a piece of body armor that legend says was worn by Mar himself. Jak has nothing to give Damas. Damas says his courage is the greatest gift one could give and says... Welcome to the Clan !

Damas is so proud of Jak... like he were his own son (makes you wonder ?) Jak & Daxter hear word from Samos and Pecker that there's Dark Maker activity in the Forest. Grab a nearby Leaper and ride back to the garage. Take the Sand Puppy out to the desert and ride the Freedom League Personnel Carrier to Haven City. |
