This is an off-road driving mission. Jaks driving the Slam Dozzer. Damas is the navigator. Piles of rubble are everywhere but there's flat spots in the terrain to drive through. Use the machine guns [R1] to take-out any DarkMakers trying to stop you. Use Turbo to break through gates when Damas tells you to. Driving here is a challenge but way too much fun! Climb the rubble and work your way to the first forcefield gate. Ram into the 2 energy towers. The forcefield evaporates.

Someone on the other side of the palace walls (probably DarkMakers) starts to fire BIG rockets. Watch for the flashing red target ring to light-up near the Dozzer. Get outta there! You have 1-3 seconds before the rocket explodes. 3-4 direct hits and the Dozzer's scrap metal. You may see the fire trail of the rocket in the sky before it hits. Drive deeper into the ruins, ramming energy towers, ramming bridges and opening forcefield gates as you go. Evenually we reach a huge pit.

There are 4 energy towers to take down before the final forcefield gate evaporates. Drive to the left first and ram the 1st energy tower. Turn around drive down the ledge and at the end, turn left and dive down into the ditch. Crash through the gate using turbo, then just before the corner, drive up the steep incline ramp on the right, through the rubble. Go left down the alley. Ram the bridges and take down the 2nd and 3rd energy towers. Ram the last bridge, take out the last energy tower and drive through the gate.

[Long movie sequence begins] The Slam Dozzer gets hit with a rocket and explodes in a cloud of white light. When the dust settles, Jak stands up and goes to the over-turned Dozzer. Damas is pinned inside the wreckage and is dying. Jak goes to comfort Damas in his last moments. Damas is so proud of Jak and pleads with him to find his son... He hands Jak the Seal Of Mar Necklace which is a symbol of his family. Jak is shocked... He has one.. Damas must be his father???

Right at the moment of discovery, Damas dies in Jak's arms. Damas will never know Jak was his son??? Veger is there watching... He says Yes It's all true Jak... You were his son... When you were just a young boy I hid you from your father. But then you escaped to the underground and I couldn't find you... Such a shame... He laughs in a sinister wicked delight that Damas never knew. He says thank-you for opening up the Precursor Core and zooms off in a subrail hover car.

Jak is so angry he lights up his Dark Eco in a fit of rage... Jak wants nothing more then to get revenge on Veger. Daxter agrees and says... No-one's going to hurt my best friend. Let's get him... They hop in a subrail hover car and dive into the Core.
