Back in the Naughty Ottsel, Jinx has been hard at work. He has been able to capture a Blast Bot and change its electronics so it can be run by a remote. Torn is intrigued and wants Jak to go into KG territory and blow up another defense shield.

Controlling the Blast Bot is very simple. Use [R1] to shoot the plasma cannon. The left analog stick controls the direction of the spider legs. The right analog stick controls the swivel turret on top of the Blast Bot. It's a little trickey to get control of the steering vs the swivel turret, but shooting the gun on the move is a neccessity and you can strafe across targets. The movement of the Blast Bot is clunky at best and you'll feel the pulse in the controller as the spider legs pound the ground.

Crawl deep into KG territory blasting all the KG Death Bots and Spider Bots that come in from all sides and start to attack. The good news is you're not alone. There's a large batallion of Freedom League Soldiers at your side, who run ahead and help clean-out resistance. Your biggest challenge is getting by the security Blast Bots. They are equally matched to you in firepower, so the only way you're going to destroy them is to out-smart them or a surprize flank attack.

Watch the energy meter at the bottom. You have to keep the Blast Bot powered-up all the way to the forcefield barrier. Circle the turret 180 every once in awhile to make sure you take down any KG Bots chasing and firing at you. Walk the Blast Bot down the many dark alleyways and side streets. Look to the proximity radar to see your path ahead and to see the concentration of enemies around each corner. Eventually you make it around the last bend to the forcefield barrier.

I stood here for awhile firing the cannon at the barrier, but nothing happened??? So... I just drove the Blast Bot into the barrier. That did the trick! [Movie sequence begins] The forcefield vaporizes.... Back at the Naughty Ottsel, Jak tosses Torn the remote. Torn is delighted! They now have clear access to Freedom HQ and can link-up with their buddies. Torn tosses Jak a new weapon... the Peace Maker.

Torn has no missions right now. Back outside 2 new icons appear on the proximity radar. Grab a zommer and fly through Haven to the Northern Front HQ.
