Jak returns to the arena for the 3rd time. Damas and Pecker the parrot, are on the throne once again. Before going down to the lava pit, Jak picks up another weapon (this one with plasma bullets) called Vulcan Fury. Pecker wishes them luck.. |

Jump to the elevator platform and go down to the arena floor. Load the Vulcan Fury or Beam Reflexor before reaching the bottom. The arena combat doesn't begin til you reach the beacon floodlight in the middle. Jak has to stay on the catwalks at all times and avoid the lava lake. Peg any Marauder that jumps down from the nearby shacks. Some Marauders have guns so shoot often and quickly. DON'T WORRY ABOUT AMMO. There are refill crates coming after the first alarm bell. |

There are 25 Marauders to take down in all. They will sneak up on you from all sides and they are quick to fire. I found the best way to kill them and stay alive, was to work around the perimeter of the arena at all times. Just keep circling and firing. If you have to, turn around and fire behind you, from time to time. Once the warning alarm sounds, look for platforms to rise up from the lava. Jump to one of those platforms. Ammo crates are up top. Jump back to the catwalks as they return. |

I didn't see any value in using Jak's Dark Eco Power-up anywhere. The Marauders never grouped together long enough to make a difference with a Dark Eco blast. Keep firing away til the very last Marauder goes down. [Movie sequence begins] A Marauder sneaks up on Jak & Daxter from behind a platform. LOOK WHO IT IS? Our ole buddy Sig (fans may remember him from the 2nd Jak game) Sig greets Jak & Daxter and then gets ready to kill them (nothing personal). |

Thankfully, Sig has fond memories and can't bring himself to kill Jak and lays down his weapon. Damas is outraged about defacing the purity of arena battle and arrests both Sig and Jak. Later on, in the palace, Damas tears a strip off Jak and Sig for not obeying arena rules. He lets them both off, under one condition!.. They have to go back into the desert and destroy some MetalHead Eggs inside the nests under the mountain |

Leave the palace by the freight elevator. Back out in the city streets, find a nearby Leaper Lizard and ride to the garage compound. |
