Jak & Daxter return to the garage compound, after getting through the 3rd and final arena battle. It was a nice surprise to be re-united with Sig. |

Our buddy Sig is waiting in one of the nearby vehicles. This time we get some heavy-duty horspeower and get to ride in the Gila Stomper. Ride out into the desert. Of course, there's going to be Marauders, but they are no match for the firepower of the Gila Stomper. Take 'em all down and load up on turbo boosts. Eventually Jak rides up to a cave entrance where the MetalHead eggs are. Sig jumps out and blasts open the entrance with his Annihilator Plasma Rifle. |

Ride down the tunnels of the cave. As we go deeper and deeper, we start to run into an infestation problem. Tiny bugs and spiders start to run out from the cave walls. Fire away at them. You don't want them clinging to the vehicle. They will cause damage in the long run. In the first large cave, Sig points out the egg nest and tells Jak to fire at the hanging nest. DO IT QUICKLY, before the egg spits venom back at you. There are 10 eggs in all to find somewhere in the caves. |

To advance deeper into the caves, Jak has to shoot down some columns which will collapse and turn into bridges. Ride over the new bridges and go deeper into the caves. There's lot of trouble all around you. Be mindful of egg nests all around you. Take down as many as you can, while driving at full speed. If you stand still for any length of time, you'll take heavy damage. Work you way to the very back of the mountain and destroy the last egg nest. Sig yells alright! for the victory. |

Destroying the last nest has caused a big problem. The MOUNTAIN STARTS TO SHAKE and the caves are starting to fall apart and collapse. Jak has 3 minutes to find a way back out of the cave network to the desert. The little bugs are going to make things interesting and start to run up to the vehicle wherever they can. Navigate the Gila Somper back out the large caves, back over the bridges and ramps. Use the radar as a guide. |

Once outside the mountain, back in the desert, drive back to the garage. Avoid the Marauders as they come at you. Sig says good-bye for now. |
