After finishing off the Blast Bots and exploring the port area of Haven City, Jak & Daxter zoom back to the Naughty Ottsel Tavern. [Movie sequence begins]. Torn needs to re-unite with Ashelin at Freedom League HQ in another part of the city. Access to that part of Haven City has been cut-off by a series of forcefields that the KG Army have put up. It's time to go knock out the barrier. This is a job tailor-made just for Daxter. |

Just outside the Naughty Ottsel Tavern (down the street) a beacon floodlight shines over a missle launcher right by the water. Walk into the floodlight. A cut scene shows Daxter climbing onboard the back of the missle, and yelling to Jak "I'll be right back". The missles zooms off the launcher. THIS MISSLE IS FAST! Daxter is lterally hanging on for dear life. Torn breaks-in and tells Daxter to run over the energy cells out in the port area, to charge up the missle's detonator. |

If you're like me, this challenge took 4-5 good attempts to get the missle physics and navigation down to a science. Steer Daxter across the water (avoiding the floating mines) through the floodlight beacons over the energy cells. Every time Daxter runs over a cell, the charge meter in the lower left corner of the screen moves up a tick. There are 20 energy cells in all to collect. As you fly over a cell, another beacon floodlight will light up nearby. Fly through the beacons in sequence. |

Because Daxter is FLYING SO FAST, you have to anticipate any turns or jumps well ahead of time or you'll explode into a cloud of dust and have to start over. Fly the missle over and around the port area as best you can. When you get at least 10 energy cells, should you crash, you'll start at the mid-point of the challenge and not at the beginning. Torn will break-in and tell Daxter when he has 1 cell left to collect. A cut scene will show Daxter crashing the missle into the barrier. |

The barrier explodes and Daxter is thrown clear of the explosion, only to be crushed by a huge chunk of debris. He's OK... He's tough! Gameplay returns to Jak at the missle launcher near the entrance to the Naughty Ottsel. Let's go visit Tess! |
