Welcome to the 1st home world area. As you walk down the path from the Sage's island, across the bridge, you will see the village. Off to the left is Sentinel Beach and off in the distance (to the right) you can see Misty Island. You will have to go to at least 2 other levels to collect enough orbs to complete all the powercell trades here.

There are 6 powercells to get in this level. They can be found:
Collecting 90 orbs and exchanging them with the mayor
Finding and freeing all 7 scout flies
Collecting 90 orbs and exchanging them with Daxter's uncle
Herding all 5 yakows into their pen
Collecting 120 orbs and giving them to the oracle
Collecting another 120 orbs and giving them to the oracle

There are a number of houses to visit in the village. The house on the left with the windmill is where the mayor
lives. He is not happy at this point because there is no sunlight energy to run his windmill. We will do that for him once we enter the Forbidden Jungle level. He will exchange a powercell for 90 orbs though. There's a scout fly in one of his rooms. Inside the 1st house on the right is another scout fly. Collect all the orbs you can find, and move on to the next house.

Between the 2 houses on the right is a path down to the beach. One scout fly is under the bridge and another scout fly is on a small sandbar just out in the water. In the second house is Daxter's uncle. He wants 90 orbs to complete his puzzle and will exchange them for a powercell as well. The only problem, is there are only 50 orbs in this area and you need at least 300-400 to satisfy everyone including the oracle. So, Daxter will have to come back later when he has enough.

Past all the houses and on the right are a series of steps and ledges leading to a high platform. On top, is a
sealed vent with lightning bolt symbols. Directly ahead is a pedestal island with 2 blue eco lightning balls. Jump across to the island, zap through both eco powerups then jump back to the other platform. The vent grate will open as you walk by. Collect all the orbs. Now jump down and go to the house directly across the way. The old lady inside has another powercell challenge.

In this game, the lighting changes from time to time. One minute it will appear like mid-day sun. One minute later, it will look like dusk or early evening with streetlamps and torches burning. The last house on the left has another powercell opportunity and a scout fly inside. Notice there are 5 yakows outside grazing. Your job, to herd all 5 yakows into their fenced-in pen beside the house. Just walk behind them, direct them toward the gate, and nudge them from time to time.

Past the last house there's a flight of steps and another group of pedestal islands. On top of the first ledge is
another scout fly. From the last step, jump and spin to the first island then jump and spin to the second island. Face left and jump to the ramp on the side of the cliff. Up top is the oracle. The eyes are actually powercells that can be exchanged for 120 orbs each!! The last scout fly is nearby. Go back to the start and check out the boat by the dock. You will use it shortly.
