Jak & Daxter

There are no more powercells to get in this level but the game is finished! After completion, you will have the opportunity to find the hidden 101st powercell ?

Dark Eco Silos 1 This is it! The staging area for the final showdown with Gol & Maia and their robot. After completing work in the Citadel, Jak & Daxter ride the central elevator to the top of the Citadel. It's an amazing view from up here. The back portal on the wall opens if you have 100 powercells and defeat the robot. Blast open all the treasure chests to reveal a blue eco lightning ball. This will activate the nearby hover pad that will take you down to the dark eco silo arena.

Dark Eco Silos 2 You can see in the distance that Gol & Maia are already inside the robot and are hard at work trying to open the vent on the top of the dark eco silos. Our job is to to stop them from opening the vents on the silos. So, we have to somehow destroy the robot. Jump on the hover pad and take the long ride down to the dark eco silo roof.

Dark Eco Silos 3 As you enter the dark eco silo arena, you can hear Maia cursing at you. She really wants you destroyed! Power-up with one of the yellow eco lightning balls and then while jumping in mid-air, fire at the robot's eye. Jak has to be facing the robot and off the ground, for the heat-seeker missle to auto-aim properly. 5 direct hits will disable the robot. Jak has to power-up with yellow eco at least twice, to get all 5 hits. The robot explodes and flies away to regroup.

NOTE: Once you have disabled the robot, the blue eco energy vent will activate. Gol & Maia release an explosive saucer that is on a short timer fuse. Power up with blue eco and run to the lightning launch pad on the other side. Bounce way up in the air. While Jak is catapulted high above the silos, the saucer will explode below.

Dark Eco Silos 4 OK Maia's getting angry! The robot fires several energy bursts into the dark eco. This releases 12 really nasty spike lurkers that come after Jak. Power-up from the yellow eco ernegy balls and peg away at the lurkers. I chose to peg 4 at a time and then run to the next energy ball. Once you have all 12 destroyed, the crack in the silo vent will open a little more, and Maia releases another saucer bomb. Run through the blue eco vent again and bounce on the lightning pad.

Dark Eco Silos 5 The vent is now open a little wider. Maia releases several red energy balls from the robot's arm. Find the yellow eco energy balls, jump in mid-air and fire at the robot arm. As all the red energy balls start to explode, each one releases a deadly energy shock ring. Jump over the shock rings as they approach. Try to keep firing at the robot arm as you can. Jak will need to power-up at least twice to get 10 hits on the robot. After, run thru the blue eco energy vent again and bounce on the launch pad.

Dark Eco Silos 6 Maia is really mad now! The other robot arm charges and fires a huge red energy ball. To make matters worse, the screen camera goes passive with little view room. Dodge the fireball as best you can. Find the yellow eco energy ball and fire at the robot arm as fast as you can. 10 direct hits on the arm will explode the arm off the robot. Jak will have to dodge at least 3 energy balls to make it through. The final arena sequence will start and the smaller silos will energize 4 white eco beams over the dark eco.

Dark Eco Silos 7 Now it's a race against the clock! Jak has to jump in mid-air through one of the white eco clouds suspended above the rim of the silo. This will start a chain reaction releasing all the white eco. All the dark eco will begin to evaporate and Gol & Maia vaporize inside the robot. The final movie sequence of the game ends as Jak & Daxter return to the Ciatdel roof. The Green Sage and Kyra are there and thank them for saving the world. BUT!! poor Daxter has to remain a weasel for now.

NOTE: If Jak has all 100 powercells go to the portal door at the back of the citadel roof and watch what happens.. A little treat and a clue to the hidden 101st powercell in Volcanic Crater.
