After a few successful missions for Roman, Niko gets a phonecall from an unknown caller. It's Vlad. He wants to see Niko at a nearby bar. The letter V will show up in your radar display. If you happen to be at your safehouse, you'll notice that it's right across the street. Now that's close! Because you'll be driving on this mission, hop in a car and park across the street.

[movie sequence begins] Niko enters the bar. A drunk guy is spouting off about how everone is an idiot. Niko just pushes him aside and sits down by Vlad. Vlad doesn't remember his name at first, so Niko improvises with "asshole". Vlad laughs but you know he doesn't care much for Niko other than doing jobs for him. He needs Niko to go collect some protection money from a chinaman. He owns an import shop not too far away.

Leave the bar and jump into your car. Worst case run across the road and grab your own car parked out front. Follow the highlited route on your radar display. You'll be driving across town. The shop is located on the street under the subway tracks not too far away from the Cluck N Bell. Approach the front door. The shop owner won't let you in and starts to complain about Vlad and how he doesn't protect him. He's not gonna pay. You can go run and tell Vlad!

Niko has another idea and threatens the shop owner with a little remodelling if he doesn't open the door. The owner doesn't budge. OK... Plan B. Go find an object and break the front window? You have no weapon, no baseball bat and your fists won't do it. There's a purple circle on your radar. Run across the road and find the abandoned lot with a pile of junk. Pick up a brick from the scrap pile [X]. With brick in hand, walk back across the street to the store front.

Use [L2] to load your target ring and aim on the window. Throw the brick [R2] at the window. It will shatter. The store owner comes running out in a panic and yells "What you doin? Ok.Ok. Here's my money". No need to rough-up the owner or take anything from the store, just get in your car and leave. Niko calls Vlad and tells him he has the money. Vlad asks him to meet him back at the bar to give him the money.

[movie sequence begins] Niko hands Vlad the money. He tells Vlad that he had to remodel the front windows because he was being a pain. Vlad says that this store owner is a bastard and a low-life. He makes so much money on the crap he imports, if people only knew, how much he was making. Anyway. He thanks Niko for the work and gives him a token cut for his work.
