Niko Bellic
Born somewhere in Eastern Europe, Niko has come to America to re-unite with his cousin Roman and to find a new life. Roman has been sending letters back home telling everyone how he's made it big in Liberty City. Niko has had a troubled life witnessing war and destruction and the abuse of people. He is numb from the experience and wishes nothing more than to forget.

Roman Bellic
Niko's older cousin. Roman has been in Liberty City for over 10 years now. He's family and your contact when you arrive. He hasn't really made much headway like he said in his letters. He helps run a cab company in the middle of town, lives in a dive of an apartment, and has no money to speak of. Roman owes money everywhere including to a few unforgiving loan sharks.

Michelle Andrews
Your first real date in Liberty City. Friend of Mallorie who works at the taxi company. Lives not too far away from you. She is kinda normal, and likes to do things on a date. She'll compliment you when you change clothes and drive a clean car. Don't run red lights when she's in the car. You can go on more dates after you've had a successful first date. She has a secret life.

Jacob Hughes "Little Jacob"
He's your Rastafarian Caribean dude. Good friends with Badman. Next to impossible to understand unless you've hung around a Rasta! Is often high from his own drugs and is irritable if you call him (cellphone) before 2:00 in the afternoon. He controls a small drug empire in the hood and has several dealers and drops. He always uses wrecked cars to get around town.

Vladimir Glebov "Uncle Vlad"
Vlad is a middle-aged hard-nosed bully. He's full of himself and prides himself on being a womanizer, and bragging about "doing" Mallorie. He's a cocaine addict and is agitated most of the time. Likes to kick Roman around alot. He's a mid level crime gangster and works for Faustin. Hangs out at the cab company at first, then at the bar across the street from your safehouse.

Mikhail Faustin
Faustin is a high level gangster who controls most of Bohan. He's an older man married to Elena and they have a daughter. They live in an upscale house by the boardwalk. Faustin is a heavy drinker and drug user and is often in a rage. He rats and complains about his partner Dimitri all the time but doesn't listen to him. He's always enraged by people who show disrespect.

Dimitri Rascalov
Dimitri is Faustin's partner and long-time friend. They served in the military together in Eastern Europe. Dimitri has always been at odds with Faustin and things are getting more tense. He tries to calm Faustin down but it seems to only get worse. Dimitri is worried about Kenny Petrovic and his gang. Dimitri eventually betrays Faustin and asks Niko to assasinate him.

Brucie Kibbutz
Brucie is just plain strange. Brucie is good friends with Roman. You'll be introduced after a few missions. Brucie owns an auto body shop in lower East Hook. He is all about cars and bikes and choppers and dating hot women. Brucie is jacked on steroids and hormones. He talks big but has no backbone perse. He is absolutely wired all the time and likes to call you "Alpha".

Manny Escula
Manny runs the community center up in the projects of South Bohan. Manny is a friend of Mallorie. You'll be introduced to him once you have a new safehouse up in Bohan. Manny's thing is trying to get rid of all gangs in his hood. He wants his community center to be a model for kids to come and hangout. He even goes so far as to make videos with an officer of the LCPD!

Elizabeta Torres
Elizabeta is one of the prominent drug bosses in all of Liberty City and has a reputation for being ruthless. Elizabeta is friends with Mallorie. You'll be introduced to her after completing both missions for Manny. She has alot of deals going on but needs body guards or "insurance protection" as she likes to call it. She pays very well and is always grateful for having you around.
