In 1997, the NSX model went through a dramatic overhaul in the drivetrain. Then engine was replaced with a 3.2 litre V-6 and a 6-speed manual gearbox. Horsepower and torque were significantly increased. Suspension components were reduced and lightened as well as extra interior parts removed, making the car 200lbs lighter and agile.
